THE CONTROVERSIAL JOHANNESBERG HOTEL & BUS SCENE ANALYSIS — As we approach the infamous bus and hotel scenes, many readers may feel anxious about what's coming next. These moments have become some of the most debated and misunderstood parts of Passion. So, let's take a closer look at the context, psychology, and narrative purpose behind these controversial events. (long thread ahead-total of 21 panels) Disclaimer: This is my personal interpretation based on the Novel and my understanding of the characters actions, motives and emotions. This is not to justify their actions but to explore and analyze them within the context of the story. I only changed the first and second panel photos since I had already uploaded the previous version to my TikTok account. I'm happy to share this Analysis with you before we head into one of the most devastating parts of Passion Manhwa. #패션 #PASSION

Ilay feels betrayed because he hates losing control yet he also needs reassurance from Taeui. His possessiveness drives both his cruelty and tenderness as he wants to keep Taeui by his side. That’s why Taeui feels so conflicted he sees both Ilay’s affection and his monstrous side

This chapter had me emotionally conflicted, just like Taeui. The hotel scene's slow pacing, body language, facial expressions and eye expressions were beautifully portrayed. Kangjak-nim's vision and golden hands are truly amazing. Thank you so much! @rkdwkr0_0 @dam__c
