The next new customer who calls your business may not be a person. Personal AI assistants from Meta, OpenAI, xAI, and a startup called Instinct find businesses, fill out forms, and book for the people who use them. Since September 2026, two of them make phone calls too. Your customer gets back one sentence about you. We just published How to Market Your Small Business When Personal AI Assistants Do the Shopping. Inside: 🤖 The four assistants that matter right now - what each one does, where your customer uses it, and what it costs them 🔎 The three places you show up - the facts it reads, the finish it needs, and the message it hands back 🖱️ The one-page test - count the clicks to your most common answer; more than two, fix the page ✅ Six things that always worked and work better now - each with one thing to do next 📋 12 copy-paste prompts - six that show you how an assistant decides, and six errands that send one to book your own business, scored out of 24 None of it requires a redesign. It's the same work that has always won customers, and the assistant stops forgiving the gaps. Read the guide: imforza.link/ai-assistants-g… If your customer's assistant described your business in one sentence, what would it say?

9:14 PM. A buyer's assistant asks two agents for the same Saturday showing. Agent 1: "We'll get back to you within 2 business days." Agent 2, two seconds later: "Saturday at 10:30. Confirmed." The buyer gets a text that says booked. Guess which agent sent it.

52% of US consumers used an AI tool to find a local business in the past 30 days, up from 9% a year earlier. That's from SOCi's survey of 1,000+ US consumers. SOCi sells local marketing software, so read it as directional. The number we'd act on is the next one. After an AI recommended a business, 81% checked something else before reaching out. Reviews came first (33%), then the business's social accounts (20%), then a regular search (16%). Only 19% went straight to calling or visiting. Think of the AI answer as a referral from a stranger. People still check you out before they call. A 10-minute check you can run: 1. Ask ChatGPT or Gemini for your service in your town, the way a customer would. 2. Open your three newest Google reviews. Did you reply to each one? 3. Open your last social post. Would a stranger think you're still open? Whichever one makes you wince is where the referral falls apart.

Your customer's AI assistant is a hired skeptic. It has never heard of you, trusts nothing it can't check, and bills by the minute. Four habits decide whether it picks you, and none of them forgive a gap: imforza.link/aia-carousel-x

📰 #imNEWS: @AnthropicAI launched Claude Duet, a research-preview personal agent that keeps working in the cloud, briefs you in the morning, and waits for your ok on anything sensitive. It runs on Opus 5.5 for Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US, as a waitlist product on iOS, Android, and the web. Team and Enterprise plans are not included yet. 🔑 3 Key Takeaways ① It comes to you Claude Duet is built as a teammate you message, not a blank chat you have to open and prompt. It can send a morning brief, flag inbox and calendar items that need you, and reach out when a job is done or needs approval. ② It can run real business chores Anthropic says it can set up a meeting, build a dashboard, draft replies, find unpaid invoices, prep payroll for review, and get contracts ready to send. Memory, skills, and connected apps from the Claude app carry into the same thread. ③ Preview limits still apply It shares your plan’s usage with the rest of Claude, and background work counts against those limits. Approvals, logins, and safety checks run in your own cloud computer. Anthropic also warns it can misread urgency or miss something between check-ins. ✅ Action Item If you already pay for Claude Pro or Max, join the waitlist and pick one reversible workflow, like drafting invoice reminders or a weekly status deck. Keep send, pay, and payroll actions on manual approval, and write down what it is allowed to do before you hand it a live inbox. Source: imforza.link/BTYsCwr

A potential client tells a family lawyer: "I asked ChatGPT for a good family lawyer near me, and you weren't on the list." What should the firm fix first? One sentence.

Our founder Vinny La Barbera is in @Forbes_Agency on how seasonal e-commerce has to change for AI shopping. His point: stop spinning up a holiday page in October and deleting it in January. AI assistants recommend what they can verify. Keep one permanent URL per seasonal line, build it all year, and put the boring details (sizes, shipping cutoffs, returns) where they are easy to find. imforza.link/Dejcq0g

📰 #imNEWS: @WordPress is telling site owners to update PHP now. The PHP project shipped a security release that patches two critical remote code execution bugs. This is not a WordPress core update. Hosts may already be pushing packages and WAF rules, but you still need to confirm the PHP version your site is running. 🔑 3 Key Takeaways ① Patch PHP today The patched builds are PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, and 8.2.35. PHP says unauthenticated requests can trigger remote code execution, with the highest demonstrated risk on Apache mod_php, and it can happen before application code runs. ② WordPress core is not the fix John Blackbourn notes these bugs affect any server running PHP, not just WordPress. No WordPress update is required or planned. Check Tools > Site Health > Info > Server, or your host panel, for the live PHP version. ③ Old PHP is unsupported PHP versions before 8.2 no longer get security updates from the PHP project. WordPress, citing national cyber agencies including the UK NCSC, says self-hosted sites on those versions should consider taking the server offline until they can upgrade. ✅ Action Item Look up your PHP version now. Ask your host for 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, or 8.2.35 (or a vendor backport if you are stuck on 8.1 or older). Do not wait for a WordPress dashboard update. If you manage the server yourself and cannot patch immediately, treat that as an emergency, not a later-this-week task. Source: imforza.link/ZkIfhWY

If ChatGPT traffic fell off a cliff in your October report, check the dates before you panic. Most of those visitors still showed up. Your analytics just filed them under Direct. What happened: links inside ChatGPT's answers opened without the tag that tells your analytics a visit came from ChatGPT, and without a referrer (the note a browser passes along about where someone came from). With neither, a visit lands in Direct. OpenAI confirmed it was a bug on October 14, and the fix rolled out on October 15. Cedric Huesler at Adobe compared about 500 pages where ChatGPT sends at least 5% of visits. During the bug, ChatGPT visits fell by about 31,000 a day, and Direct rose by about 26,000 a day on the same pages. Why it matters: a dip like that gets misread fast. A law firm sees ChatGPT visits drop by half and decides AI search isn't worth the work. A restaurant sees Direct jump and credits the new sign out front. An online store reads the dip as lost demand and stops updating the pages ChatGPT was sending people to. Three checks in GA4: 1. If ChatGPT sessions dropped around October 8 and came back around October 15, that's the bug, not your customers. 2. If Direct rose on the same days, on the pages ChatGPT usually sends people to, those were your ChatGPT visitors. 3. If the ChatGPT line never came back after October 16, something else changed, and that's worth a closer look. Do this first: add an annotation in GA4 for October 8 to 15 that says "ChatGPT tracking bug." Whoever reads the October numbers later will see it right on the chart. Worth knowing even after the fix: most ChatGPT clicks still arrive with no referrer, so the tag is the only thing marking them as ChatGPT.

📰 #imNEWS: @Google is expanding Chrome Enhanced Protection with two-tier site warnings, server-side Gemini scam detection, and new defenses against ClickFix attacks. Google says Enhanced Protection users are about 10 times safer from phishing, social engineering, and scams than Standard Protection users. 🔑 3 Key Takeaways ① Warnings now match the confidence level Chrome will distinguish suspicious sites from confirmed dangerous ones. Lower-confidence threats get a distinct warning, while high-confidence malicious pages still trigger the familiar full-page red interstitial. ② Gemini is analyzing more scam types Google moved scam detection from an on-device model to a more powerful server-side Gemini model for all Enhanced Protection users. It can identify fake antivirus alerts, bogus browser updates, and other deceptive pages by combining page content with reputation signals. ③ ClickFix attacks get clipboard-level defenses ClickFix scams trick users into copying and running malicious commands in tools like PowerShell. Chrome can now detect suspicious copied commands, scrub personal information before analysis, and warn users when Safe Browsing finds them dangerous. ✅ Action Item Enable Enhanced Protection in Chrome and your Google Account, then brief employees on fake update prompts and copy-and-run instructions. Treat any website asking you to paste commands into PowerShell, Terminal, or Command Prompt as a security incident. Source: imforza.link/CQoDoto

Your homepage has four jobs: say what you do, where you do it, roughly what it costs, and how to book. Until all four are on the page, a redesign is decoration.

Your customer asks an assistant to book a cleaning, Thursday after 3. Office 1: "Call for pricing." It stops. Office 2: "We'll be in touch." It stops again. Office 3: price, open 3:30 slot, confirmed. Booked. It doesn't work around the gap. It moves on.

📰 #imNEWS: @Google is rolling out a new Gemini hub built for small business owners. It brings brand creation, financial analysis, customer insights, and connected business apps into one place, with the new tools beginning to roll out globally to all Gemini app users. 🔑 3 Key Takeaways ① Your business tools can connect directly Gemini can connect with Google Business Profile, Google Ads, and Google Workspace, plus apps including Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho, and Xero. The goal is to reduce the copying and pasting between systems. ② Brand rules can persist Owners can upload a website, brand kit, fonts, or color palette. Paired with Nano Banana 2.1, Gemini can remember that style and create more consistent visuals without requiring the guidelines every time. ③ Financial data becomes easier to read Gemini can turn spreadsheets, receipts, and purchase records into financial graphics and interactive models. Google says tens of millions of small business owners already use Gemini for work such as product planning, customer feedback, and performance analysis. ✅ Action Item Start with one contained workflow. Connect only the apps it needs, upload your approved brand kit, and test whether Gemini can turn one week of marketing or financial data into a useful report before giving it broader access. 📰 #imNEWS: @perplexity_ai has launched a fully local version of Computer for Apple silicon Macs. The model, planning, file processing, and task execution can all stay on the device, letting users work across private files and Mac apps without sending that data to the cloud. 🔑 3 Key Takeaways ① The whole task can stay local Computer can plan, reason, process files, and execute tools on the Mac. It launches with Qwen 3.6 and PPLX Pro as local model options. ② It can work across files and apps With permission, Computer can use Notes, Messages, Mail, Numbers, Excel, Outlook, and other supported tools. Perplexity says code and tool execution run in isolated sandboxes with controlled access. ③ Cloud use becomes optional Users can keep sensitive work local or authorize a task to use Hybrid Compute for current web information, connected apps, and 15+ frontier models. Local Computer is available to Pro, Max, and Enterprise subscribers, with 36 GB or more of memory recommended. ✅ Action Item Test it on one private but reversible workflow, such as turning internal notes and a spreadsheet into a draft status report. Limit its permissions, review every output, and compare the local result with your current cloud workflow before expanding access. Source: imforza.link/qxTx4LV

📰 #imNEWS: @NozzleIO says Google has been serving rank trackers normal-looking but swapped search results since September. Across 27 million judged results, 8.4% were “poisoned” on average and 28.6% at the peak, meaning a sudden ranking drop may be bad measurement rather than a real loss. 🔑 3 Key Takeaways ① The bad data looks real There is no error or captcha. Poisoned results retained only 22% of the sites seen on the previous page, versus 88.1% under normal conditions. ② Local businesses are especially exposed “Near me” searches were poisoned 12.8% of the time. Legal and home-services results were among the hardest hit, with peak daily rates above 50% in Nozzle’s U.S. sample. ③ Most drops reverse quickly 68.9% of poisoned results returned to their usual mix within three days, and 92.7% recovered within two weeks. One bad day should not trigger a site-wide SEO overhaul. ✅ Action Item Before reacting to a sudden ranking drop, compare at least three days of data and check Search Console traffic, leads, and multiple locations or devices. If only the rank tracker moved while business results held steady, wait for confirmation before changing the site. Source: imforza.link/E4mILM1

Website sessions down, bookings flat. That report reads like bad news, and it isn't. When an AI assistant does your customer's browsing, your site gets fewer visits and more work. Judge it by completed bookings, not sessions. imforza.link/aia-teaser-x

❝ imQUOTES: "Your first impression is now a summary written by software." When your customer's assistant books you, it sends them a message. Something like: "Booked you Thursday at 2 with Dr. Patel, $95 new-patient exam, they texted a confirmation." You don't write that sentence. You do control two things: 📋 The facts it pulls from. Hours, prices, and services that match everywhere you appear, so the summary gets them right 📲 What lands next to it. A confirmation text within a minute of the booking, from you, with your name, the time, the address, and one useful line: "Park in the back lot, it's free." That second message proves you're real and responsive, and it puts your voice in your customer's hand right beside the assistant's. A business that stays quiet after a booking exists only in the summary. Want to see the summary an assistant would write about you? Paste this into the assistant you use: "Pretend you just finished booking [your most common service] at [your business name] in [city] for me. Write the confirmation message you'd send me, using only facts about the business you can verify online right now." A wrong price, missing hours, or a vague address in the answer is the fact to fix first. Read the guide 👉 imforza.link/ai-assistants-g… Share this with the person who sends your booking confirmations.
