🚨Xavi:- Rodri took votes away from Lamine, he’s speaking a truth we already felt. Spain won the World Cup as a team. That is something to be proud of. But when the success is so collective, the individual recognition becomes harder. The voters saw Rodri’s control and they saw Lamine’s quality and instead of choosing one clearly, they split. Lamine finished third, Rodri fourth. Both high, yet neither where they might have been if the votes had not been divided. At Barcelona, we have always believed in the collective. That is our way. But we also know talent like Lamine’s does not appear every generation. When a player of his age is performing at this level, the world should recognise it more clearly. The split happened and it cost him votes. #BallonDor #LamineYamal #FORCABARCA #kane
