Maybe so, but I still prefer the story with Harry as Malfoid's redeemer from the darkness rather than someone who needs her forgiveness for almost killing her.
If you remove the Sectumsempra scene, you don't get this.

I take a lot of inspiration from Song of Songs, which is why my posts focus mostly on scenes of playful flirting before or after their time together. Depicting a loving, if idealized, marriage is good when it's done tastefully and not for mere titillation. As inspired Scripture, Song of Songs does this in a way that's exceedingly bold, yet also in the context of a loving marriage. Imagery has a different effect than words, so both should be handled with discernment.
I saw someone essentially say that pornographic/lewd Malfoid fanart is good because sex is the point of romance. THIS, I fear, is another example of the way pornography has damaged people. 🧵 That idea misses the entire point of the Malfoid trend at large. To be fair, Malfoid has gotten so big it broke containment and now means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. That being said, I think the vast majority of those who enjoy this trend agree that Malfoid isn’t about sex, it’s about yearning. To yearn for something, to long for it, is to deeply and often melancholically desire it. That sense of melancholy often stems from the understanding that whatever the object of your desire is will be difficult to obtain. Men are yearning for Malfoid because finding a woman like her is incredibly difficult, but she’s worth it. People are writing stories, making art, and changing themselves for the better in an effort to even get close to the feeling of achievement - to get close to her. Making pornographic art in this movement cheapens all of this. The object of desire becomes not the woman, but her body. The way to express this desire becomes not hard work and effort, but masturbation. Looking at images on a screen and allowing yourself to be titillated will poison your soul against improvement, and you will seek to get your jollies off however you can rather than by becoming the kind of man worthy of a Malfoid, or the kind of woman worthy of a Harry. Certainly, it is true that Harry and Malfoid are sexually attracted to each other. It’s also true that the vast swaths of wonderful illustrators in this movement depict Malfoid as sexually attractive. But Malfoid being sexually attractive doesn’t innately reduce her to the point of objectification. Beauty exists, and Malfoid is beautiful. This aspect of her character is a virtue - it’s something that men often find lacking in modern women. To be fair, it’s also a quality that women find lacking in modern men, so there’s blame to go around. But that’s why people have started going to the gym over this trend, in pursuit of beauty. Beauty may also easily be corrupted. Because beauty is a virtue, it goes hand in hand with other virtues - love, self-control, modesty, etc. - and if any of these other virtues are lacking in a person, so too does their beauty. Portraying Malfoid as a loose woman, exposing herself and engaging in all kinds of indecency, makes her less beautiful. It may make her “hot” or otherwise “sexy”, but this is a pornographic debasing of her. Those depictions are not worth your desire. Malfoid is modest, in both dress and in mannerism; of course she is, as the heiress to the Malfoy name. And the people who get the trend don’t portray her as a ditz or an airhead, but as a confident, even prideful woman (it’s worth noting that such depictions have her putting down her supremacist pride in her bloodline and accepting her love for Harry, humbling herself, which is a virtue). Keep Malfoid modest. Yearn for something greater.

Yes it’s called the birth of Christ
I’ve asked this before but is there any historical event that is like the Opposite of 9/11. Like something so good that happened that it changed the world forever

Predators are always more beautiful in motion, prey is most beautiful when it stands still, unaware that it’s being watched. To a man, a photograph of a beautiful woman is what a gazelle is to a lion.
men are never hot in photos. They are always hot in person when they are moving around and talking. Very fluid creatures… much to think about

>no begging >no pleading What in the overinflated ego is this shit.
Men these days are different. The moment you say no, they’re gone. No begging, no pleading, no chasing. This generation of men will accept your rejection so fast, you’ll start wondering if they ever wanted you in the first place.

It's for the best until the rightful ruler can be returned to power there. The importance of denying communists the ability to hurt or destroy their enemies can't be exaggerated.

As a general rule, it's always a good idea to ignore the naysayers, doomspirallers, and blackpillers. Calling them useless would be a gross overstatement of their value.

The young wife smiled with eyes full of laughter as she looked upon her reckless husband. His hands absentmindedly caressed her back as they enjoyed each other's company. She blushed as her husband held her closely, unable to hide her thoughts from his piercing gaze. "You know, husband," his wife began with a twinkle in her eye, "if I didn't know any better, I'd say it was your plan that I left this place pregnant." "I have no idea what you're talking about," he said in a voice of utmost innocence. "Oh don't you play innocent, Mr. Potter," she exclaimed, her cheeks rose-red. "You know exactly what you've been doing! This has 𝘯𝘰𝘵 been a restful holiday for me!" "Maybe not," he said, his eyes drinking in her beauty with shameless desire, "but it has been an enjoyable one." She smiled proudly as he gazed at her, even if in her heart she pretended not to notice. 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴! "That's not the point," she exclaimed. "Your wife wanted to relax, but all that's been happening is you trying your best to get me pregnant! It's not easy dealing with such a demanding husband, you know!" "Darling," he said with a smirk, and she did not resist as he pulled her closer, "may I remind you that this entire trip was your idea." "Oh, so now you're saying I wanted my husband to get me pregnant again," she asked, blushing furiously. "You must think your wife finds you just so irresistible then, that I'm head-over-heels for you all the time, and that I love being pregnant with your children!" Her futile attempts to maintain an accusatory tone made him laugh; she could hardly hide her grin, which only made her more happily annoyed with him. As she sat there, the blanket shifted off her shoulders, its enchanted patterns changing like garden of flowers in a summer breeze. "My lovely wife," he said, pulling her close so she faced him fully, "I don't 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 that at all." His wife succumbed and kissed him with overflowing delight. After a long while she pulled back and said alluringly, "You can't keep getting with it, you know." "With what, my dear," he asked, his arms covering her in a protective embrace. "Making me fall helplessly in love with you so I overlook your...your...impropriety! I'm your wife, I have standards, you know!" "And they somehow always end up with you being pregnant," he said, smirking. "Curious, isn't it?" She laughed against her will and kissed him again. The man held his wife and she clung to him with all she had, and within the secret cabin the two lovers did not leave each other's embrace until the fading twilight, when the stars started to shine and the woods began to sing. #Malfoid

Toddlermancy: Very wholesome white magic. I've started to come to the belief that perhaps the reason why so many women end up bouncing from bad boy to bad boy feeling unfulfilled is that they love the cheap thrill, but deep down, they know that such a man would never be able to raise a child. Pair them with a man who acts this way with children though? It unlocks the maternal instinct and makes her yearn for her man rather than simply falling into limerence with him.

"He recalled her talking about an idea for a series of children's books that would grow alongside its original readers, starting out sweet and child-friendly before gradually becoming darker and more adult." This is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the books because I remember reading them as a kid and then finishing the series as a teenager. You really feel the growth of the characters and stakes as though it's happening alongside you. Perhaps that's one reason why it resonates so powerfully with Millennials: that shift from whimsical fairy tale to a mature adventure story occurred in sync with us.
Very loosely. That's part of why Deathly Hallows is so peculiar: Rowling decided at the start how the series would end, and by the time she got there, the characters and plot had changed. But instead of adapting the ending, she seemed to shoehorn the characters into the conclusion she'd originally planned. There's an interesting anecdote from someone who claimed to have worked with Jo Rowling at Edinburgh's Netherbow Theatre in the early 1990s. According to him, they were both earning extra money marking students' creative writing assignments. Rowling marked short stories, while he marked plays. He recalled her talking about an idea for a series of children's books that would grow alongside its original readers, starting out sweet and child-friendly before gradually becoming darker and more adult. Looking at the finished series, that ambition clearly came through. But it raises an interesting question: did planning the ending so early help Rowling bring the story together, or did it sometimes force the later books to fit a conclusion that no longer suited the characters she'd developed?

The Protestants are correct. All should come to throne of grace as they are so they can be made better than they were. It takes longer for some than others, but the important thing is that it happens.
Woman at church yesterday showed up in a sweatshirt and literal pajama pants. Wore her hood the entire service. I was absolutely appalled. I hate this whole, “came as you are” narrative the Protestant church preaches. Other religions wouldn’t let you in if you dressed so disrespectfully. Why is it only Christian’s that are held to this standard? That we must just accept everything?
