just put out a huuuuge update to DitherEffect. the app now has more dithering algos & ways to adjust them than any other dithering app out there. massive speedups across every aspect of the app. +gif support (was only video+still before).
Hey brother, try DitherEffect. A lot more halftone and print settings, also free.

working on a screen printing engine for my printshop, would love to have a chat, ditherboy is a lovely app i use almost daily, and i referenced your app a lot during the process, basically trying to have the missing layer for my own experience. would love to chat about it <3
new Modulation Dithering + CRT preset just dropped! apply it to your photos, videos or live capture. thousands of ways to customize it, REALTIME on any device with a browser, even your phone 🤯
You can now import and export JXL in DitherEffect 🫡
Chrome 155 adds support for JPEG XL (.jxl) → goo.gle/4yYpSjW
Expect 30-50% smaller file sizes than traditional JPEGs, native HDR, progressive rendering, and lossless JPEG transcoding.
Under the hood, Chrome uses jxl-rs, a pure Rust decoder built for maximum memory safety and performance.
people who think anthropic actually lost $80 billion are unserious people who only read headlines.

works on every device, including your phone! completely free here: dithereffect.com/
real life version of this
someone sent this in my agent coding gc last night and I asked opus
“turn this into a video game cutscene, no image generation, code only”
not bad!

First demo: The Minecraft Test.
@kaigen3d works great with AI. The difference with Three.js is that when you're done it runs on Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android *and* the Web. (VR soon!)
oh and it runs at 330+ FPS on a 6 year old laptop gpu.
link to demo + code below🧵
the C engine is finally ready for prime time, it's name is Kaigen.
in the next few days I'll start posting more demos, and re-posting old demos, with playable links and intake forms for a closed beta.
