On behalf of thousands of Mumbaikars, I am literally requesting the BMC and the Municipal Commissioner to PLEASE look into the pathetic condition of hundreds of utility ducts along JVLR.
Most have sunk well below the road surface, creating dangerous potholes and sudden drops that can cause serious, even fatal accidents.
I couldn't capture them all as I was driving, but the problem is widespread.
PLEASE, I beg you to send a team and fix these on an URGENT basis before someone loses their life.
We don't want much. Just safe roads.

Vote Chori? The old pataka has gone tusssss...
Rahul Gandhi came with an old Diwali pataka - "Vote Chori." He lit it, held a press conference, showed a PowerPoint, and waited for an explosion.
The pataka went tusssss.
BJP has now brought out the scorecard, and it is embarrassing for Congress. During Congress's own CEC, V.S. Sampath, NDA won 75% of elections. Under current CEC Gyanesh Kumar, NDA has won 66%.
Rahul has to now explain. If the Election Commission is stealing votes for BJP now, was it stealing even more votes for BJP when Congress itself appointed the CEC?
Logic has left the chat.
This is the problem with Rahul's team. They don't do research. They do reels. They don't find evidence. They find a hashtag. And then they expect India to believe that every time Congress loses, EVM is hacked, voter list is fake, and democracy is dead.
But when Congress wins in Telangana, Karnataka, Himachal, Jharkhand - suddenly EVM becomes pure, democracy becomes alive, and Rahul becomes a genius.
What a coincidence?
The truth is simpler. Rahul Gandhi and his team have lost steam. The "Vote Chori" lie has no petrol left. They tried it in Maharashtra, tried it in Haryana, tried it in Bihar. Voters listened, yawned, and voted for development.
Congress's pataka has gone tusssss because India is no longer buying crackers without fire.
This Diwali, Rahul needs something new to chew. Old gum has no taste. Old lies have no buyers.
BJP did not need to steal votes. Congress is stealing its own future by refusing to accept defeat.
When you lose again and again, you don't need an election commission. You need introspection.
Deepavali is the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Rahul Gandhi accused oil companies of taking 31% extra money from people through petrol sales. In response, IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL have chosen to face the allegations. They have asked the Karnataka govt to provide the remaining fuel samples so they can be tested again in a govt-approved laboratory, with all concerned parties present.
HPCL has also publicly urged people to rely only on verified facts.
Now the question is simple: If Congress is confident that its 31% claim is correct, why should anyone object to an independent joint test?
When someone is ready to put their claims to the test in front of everyone, the focus should be on finding the truth, not creating more arguments.
Let the facts speak. Truth should be proven through testing, not political debates.
