Election results, generic ballot polling, and Trump's approval ratings all point towards Republican losses in November. The GOP needs to turn away from MAGA and back towards traditional conservative policies and principles.

This is absolutely horrific. There can be no justifying such things. I absolutely believe Palestinians deserve a viable state. But having a just cause does not make any and all violence legitimate. This wanton targeting of civilians is wrong. washingtonpost.com/world/202…

the House does not need to be a chamber of chaos running this place ragged on a hamster wheel of shutdown threats is a choice it doesn't have to be this way the House can be: ✅ stable ✅ bipartisan ✅ not beholden to extremists

“So many of these clowns are just ‘Cut, cut, cut, cut, cut,’ and you can’t fix the national debt without being serious about actually taxing billionaires and Fortune 500 companies,” @RepMGP said. “It’s got to be both sides of the ledger to address the debt"spokesman.com/stories/2023/s…

You cannot believe in a law and order philosophy and say it applies to everybody except Donald Trump. In any sane society, anyone who is a convicted felon should step aside. The rules of @GOP should provide that if their nominee is convicted of a crime their candidacy should end.

The GOP may nominate a convicted felon for president. That unappealing prospect warrants intense scrutiny of Trump's foreign-affairs proclivities and what a second Trump term may hold. The critical point is that Trump has neither philosophy nor policies and his potential to make stunning policy reversals, at times not even realizing it, is boundless. thehill.com/opinion/national…

Unexpected piece from @ChrisMurphyCT . I suspect the lack of genuine faith cuts across the spectrum...especially when it comes to living out the 2nd greatest commandment "to love one another". msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/t…

Donald Trump is unfit to be president.  No rational person believes they could get the Russians and Ukrainians to agree on anything within 24 hours. This impression that adversaries held Trump in high regard was untrue. Foreign leaders think Trump is a laughing fool. cnn.com/videos/politics/2023…

The Democratic Party of Oberstar, Mazzoli, Casey Sr., Eagleton and so many more would never have countenanced this - let's work for a Democratic Party like that again. Don't disassemble babies to keep moms on the assembly line.
Promoting abortion over parenthood in corporate America is supported by the Democratic Party. What happened to the party that once advocated for workers' rights and benefits? Abortion has become more important than anything else.
