Here's an astonishing stat: Just over half of all visas granted to care workers in 2023 were sponsored by employers that have since lost their licences, mostly due to fraud or abuse. That’s ~200,000 people once you include dependants. None of them have had their visas revoked.

What country are you in? In the UK the Post Office does not deliver mail. Mail is handled and delivered by Royal Mail which is, it is true, in a dreadful state. Nothing 'Royal' about it. It is owned by Daniel KΕ™etΓ­nskΓ½, a Czech billionaire who buys dying industries..

Despite brutal torture by German perpetrators, she betrayed no one. Anna SmoleΕ„ska l, a scout, an art history student, and the author of the legendary β€œFighting Poland” (Polska WalczΔ…ca) symbol, was arrested with her entire family on 3 November 1942. Interrogated and tortured in Pawiak Prison, she was later sent to the Auschwitz death camp, where she perished at the age of 23.
