He invested in Tesla AFTER it was founded. SpaceX is the company he actually founded. Yet his followers act like he personally invented everything his engineers build. Now he's poured $158 MILLION into a Republican political operation backing Ken Paxton's Texas Senate campaign. One billionaire. $158 million. One Senate race. I don't trust that level of concentrated wealth and political influence, regardless of who's exercising it. The engineers deserve credit for the technology. American democracy shouldn't depend on which billionaire can write the biggest check.
