Faster code isn’t always the biggest latency win.
Saving 2 μs in code may matter less than cutting 20 km of fiber.
Where does your latency budget go?

🇭🇰 #IPTPNetworks at #DCIS2026
The future of #AIInfrastructure and #DataCenter innovation is taking shape across Northeast Asia.
We’re excited to join industry leaders exploring #HighDensityComputing, resilient networks, and next-generation digital solutions. 🚀
📡 Meet #IPTPNetworks at #WikiFinanceExpo Hong Kong! 🇭🇰
From #FinTech and #Web3 to digital assets and cross-border payments, we're helping power the networks behind modern finance with secure, high-performance connectivity. ⚡
💰Two quotes for the same rack space. One costs 40% more.
The gap is almost never in the rack itself — it's in power billing, PUE, cross-connects, and carrier ecosystem.

🇮🇩 Next stop: #IDNOG11 in Jakarta! 🚀
We're excited to join Indonesia's leading Network Operators Group conference on July 22–23 and connect with the #NetworkOperators, #Carrier, #ISP, and #InternetInfrastructure community.
See you in Jakarta!🤝
✨ Wrapping up #APF2026 in Bali!
It was great connecting with partners and peers, discussing the future of #Connectivity and #Peering, and sharing IPTP Networks' global networking solutions.
🙏 Thanks to everyone we met—see you at the next event!
At IPTP Networks, we treat events like this as stress tests of operator architecture.
Real redundancy doesn't show itself when the network runs normally. It shows itself when a route stops existing.

Without that architecture, the backup path can be congested, longer than optimal, or unavailable.
Same external event. Different operators. Very different outcomes.
The difference is what was built before the incident.
But redundancy isn't just having a second cable.
Carrier-grade operators maintain backup routes across:
— Different geographic directions
— Separate cable systems
— Independent partners
— Pre-configured routing policies
Red Sea 2024: cables AAE-1, EIG, SEACOM, and TGN were all damaged.
Traffic redistributed across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Result: higher latency and degraded quality. Not a blackout.
When a cable is cut, BGP kicks in.
BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) detects the route loss, withdraws failed paths, and redirects traffic — automatically, without manual intervention.
This is called failover.
