This is just the best 8 min 47 seconds you could hear today. I need to learn this deeply, so much of the core message here is worth discussing with everybody involved in your product. Thank you @jeffpatton #changetheworld youtu.be/AzBuohuOU6g?t=17m41…

Experts warn that humans could face extinction as a result of AI - specifically, dying of boredom listening to people who keep talking about it.

The big flaw in anything AI-related is the assumption that people consistently do what they should.

Enjoying some awkward/nervous presenters today. Seem much more honest that some others. You can tell they are actively working on it. Kudos!

Do you one better: default to no notifications. Virtually nothing is allowed to notify me and except for calls from family, even the notifications are fairly passive.
If you’re not using the “Do Not Disturb” feature on your iPhone during periods of the day and silencing notifications from social media, text, etc., sooner or later you’re going to burn out.

If you are tired, go to sleep (in a bed) If you are full, stop eating (it'll keep) If you need a break, take 5 min (it'll wait) If you need help, ask (it's ok) If you aren't feeling it, say that (and try anyway) If you want to improve, improve (do the work) or not (your choice)

I think a great analogy for runing a business, entrepreneurship, creating content, writing a book, or similar is fitness. Like with getting fit. You need the consistency and put in the work day-after-day without seeing any immediate tangible results.

Heard this described as a “doom loop” and it makes sense. All after the fact, when you can see what happened.
When you have simultaneous pressure on a bank's deposits & reserves, you're going to have a bad day. A system-y explanation.
