I disagree so I asked claude to do the maths
This are the numbers from my harness for the last 5 days, it costed me less than 50$ on my subs (1938 $ using API price), 5 projects (repo), 3 briefs.

Bro how we are supposed to play the fucking game your AI wrote without RAM ? Or even use you apps.
claude+codex+chrome are eating 54gb on my computer right now
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says it’s “quite terrible” that people have so much DRAM sitting in their own PCs instead of being used in data centers.
“Everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer. And be used 5% of the time,”
He argues that cloud data centers should make better use of limited memory supplies instead of people running AI models locally.
So, the French socialists, and Parliament members just voted a tax, that they don’t understand, which would cost VideoLAN more than 1 million euro per year.
They are probably the most clueless politician on Earth? And they claim they want technological sovereignty…

@socialistesAN #PLF2027
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

if it's not a fake:
This will never work, no way. at this rate it's better to just forbid internet.
Installing the last call of duty would cost half the price of it. installing an old one will cost more than buying it.
Who's gonna pay the tax ? steam or the user or the internet provider ?
We are governed by idiots and the next election WILL NOT solve that no matter who win. The system is broken
Each project is divided in milestones/tasks.
At the start of the project an architecture file is written in stone
A project can be adding a pair of features touching 5 repo, or a full project from scratch.
At the end of each milestone a build it produced and verified working on an other computer or system (win, wsl, server,VM).
Meaning full tasks must pass a test , judged by a smarter model and a regression test (programmatic) previous test must continue to pass, often by comparing hash of the result.
Creative mundane task must pass a score of quality (6/10)
For important things the harness supervisor send me an email. I approve or reject by answering the email.
- My budy (any model, it doesn't matter, it's my interface to the system, on windows)
- Doctor (see the whole system, wsl)
- supervisor / orchestrator / classifiers / clarifier
- workforce
- grunts any model that would succeed ( probabilisticaly )
- Judge a worker smarter than the one who produced the code
IF it's in the brief, it's in the final product and working.

Several projects in parallel sounds great. Just curious, what keeps a run from drifting off its instructions halfway through?
How to make sure to receive a DMCA in one easy step :
I had to see what all the hype around Codex Terra 6.1 was about.
So I gave it a challenge before sleep: build a Clash Royale × Super Smash Bros. crossover, fully playable on the web, with PvP and a ranked ladder.
What surprised me the most? Three.js + WebGL work incredibly well with AI-generated VFX. The results were way better than I expected.
WOW
Meet Idol, an open image-to-3D model. A 3D-DiT that generates complete 3D objects from just an image.
Pre-trained from scratch, contains only 600M parameters, it runs on consumer GPUs, using less than 7.2 GB of VRAM and can generate 1M splats in 3 seconds. Try it today.
Fully open: weights, code and demo (Apache 2.0)

I need to solve procedural sound too now
Replying to @TopoWeaverIO
Nooo don’t go to procedural sounds
Everything else yes
The sounds 😭 get a splice subscription & grab a game audio pack
procedural sound is an art form that no model gets right (yet) unless you’ve got smth like Serum 2 and years of experience

Been thinking a lot about AI disclosure for games, since it's been a hot topic.
Steam requires disclosure for player-facing content created with the help of AI tools, but says efficiency gains from AI development tools aren't the focus.
Let's say I'm making a tree mesh for my game.
Two obvious endpoints:
• I manually model it in Blender. No disclosure.
• I generate it using Tripo/Meshy. Disclosure.
Now let's interpolate from t=0 to t=1:
1) I model the tree, but use a Codex-written exporter.
2) I model the tree, but use Codex-written UV, LOD and geometry optimization tools.
3) I model the tree, but write some scripts, with Codex help, to automate branch placement, leaf distribution, etc.
4) I automate more of the modelling until I've written a procedural tree generator.
5) I design and write my own procedural tree generator, with Codex helping debug and optimize it.
6) I design the procedural tree generator, but Codex writes the implementation.
7) I give Codex reference images, ask it to suggest improvements to my design, then implement those suggestions myself.
8) Same as above, but Codex implements the suggested improvements.
9) I give Codex reference images and ask it to design and implement the generator itself.
10) I use that generator, manually selecting and tweaking parameters until I'm happy with the trees.
11) Codex operates the generator and chooses the parameters, but I review and approve the results.
12) Codex operates the generator, chooses the parameters, and selects which trees ship, without my involvement.
13) I ask Codex to operate Blender directly and create the trees.
14) I generate the trees using Tripo/Meshy.
Under a literal reading, at every point in that list, the player-facing content was "created with the help of AI tools".
At what point did this cross from AI-assisted development into AI-generated art?
Is this going to be the same for everyone?
AI is a tool and 'slop' is visible. User don't need a BIO certificate on games.
TV is full of shit you don't watch done with zero ai
Steam is full of pre AI games that are shit.
If Tomorow Spielberg (or Cameron, almost sure it's happening right now) does a feature movie using AI I'll go and watch it.
For sure there is or will be a lot more shit on stores because of AI , but there will also be a lot more gems.
I think Steam, Epic, other should filter by quality using objective metrics (not likes)
@TimSweeneyEpic @Steam ?
