One thing Modi needs to be credited for is the freedom he has given to our local defense mfg industry.
And boy, just look at this innovation.😍😍
So deeply saddened to hear this heartbreaking news. Growing up, I was always in awe of his incredible versatility in films like Krantiveer, Apaharan, Agni Sakhi, and Welcome. God truly broke the mold when making him. Beyond his immense talent, he was a down-to-earth soul, a true patriot, and a remarkably kind human being. He inspired millions of us—not just through his powerful acting, but through his beautiful heart and love for the nation. We will forever miss his presence.
Om Shanti. 🙏

This film should be shown on national TV for a few weeks and during special festivals like Hanuman Jayanti. Additionally, the government ought to help release it in regional languages so that Adivasi and tribal communities don't miss out on its blessings. – at Noida, India
Govt should just drop Jantar Mantar and officially rename it "Dharna Nirantar," an ancient observatory where the only celestial phenomenon being continuously tracked is the rising temperature of public outrage.

Electric trains collect high voltage 25 kV AC only via the pantograph on the roof. Insulators isolate this from the rest of the train body. Return current flows through the wheels to the rails (the return path/earth).
The metal body of the train acts like a Faraday cage. Current from a fault preferentially flows through the highly conductive metal shell and into the rails, not through the interior or passengers. People fully inside are generally unaffected.
Even people touching the exterior (doors, handrails) while the train is properly on the rails are usually protected because the train-to-rail connection is a far better path than a human body. Touch or step potentials can pose risks mainly to people outside.
Incidents involving high voltage mainly affect people who climb onto roofs, approach fallen live wires, or trespass near the infrastructure—not seated or standing passengers inside coaches. Arcing, smoke, or fire from electrical faults is a separate (and real) concern, especially in tunnels, but that is not whole-train electrocution.

Mocking our jawans and the sacrifice at Pahalgam in the name of "GenZ" during the Delhi protests is an insult to every Indian.
You don’t get to abuse our security forces, post it for views, and call it dissent. My friends in uniform deserve respect, not this.
This act is shameful. Strict action must be taken.

I'm ashamed, I'm angry and honestly, I feel guilty that we've reached a stage where our soldiers are being mocked so casually.
There is something fundamentally wrong with our laws, our civic sense, and our tolerance if this is considered acceptable.
I just hope no such video ever reaches the families of our martyrs or our serving armed forces personnel. They have already sacrificed enough for this nation—they don't deserve to witness this. 🇮🇳

Let me share my story.
I secured All India Rank 525 in the General category while still in the final year of my BTech. At the same time, a teacher from my college (who was my senior and had already passed out) had been desperately preparing for GATE for 3–4 years. He used to take my help in structuring his preparation.
Based on my score, I got a call from BARC and was selected. That same teacher also got selected there.
Like many of us, my dream was IIT Delhi. I appeared for the Design programme in Mechanical Engineering. The cutoff was 17.5 out of 30. I scored 17 and missed it by a whisker. The same teacher scored only 1.5 marks out of 30 — and still got the admission. That day I first felt the sharp edge of the reservation system in our country.
Later I cleared the first interview of ISRO (ISRO has its own separate exam, which is even tougher than GATE), but chose not to proceed because I had got IIT Kanpur. At the same place I saw that teacher again. He had got admission in the Design department of Mechanical Engineering. I couldn’t even appear for Design because my university exams clashed with their dates, so I took Metallurgical and Materials Engineering instead.
In IIT Kanpur, he couldn’t clear the internal exams and failed miserably. So he decided to drop the idea of doing M.Tech and join BARC instead. He still had options from three IITs and probably some PSUs as well.
His GATE rank was somewhere around 25,000.
What hurt most was this: he occupied seats wherever he got them and later didn’t join. Those seats could have gone to someone else — from any category — who actually needed and valued them. He came from a comfortable family that already had cars, while at that time I couldn’t even afford a bicycle at home. On top of that, he told me he received substantial support from the UP Government for his studies — fees and other facilities — which was denied to General category students. I also applied for government subsidy, but everything went in vain. I carried the burden of an education loan, and it all felt pointless.
I am not against reservation. Those who genuinely need it should get it. I myself came from a very poor background and took a loan for my bachelor’s degree. When I finally got into IIT, the support from the Indian government became a real turning point in my life.
I leave it to all of you to decide how our country can solve this problem.
