No Wab.
Abolish it completely.
REPLACE IT WITH NOTHING.
End Glaude sentencing.
End land grabs.
End land acknowledgements.
End the $35 BILLION PER YEAR
ALL CANADIANS MUST BE EQUAL.
Abolish the Indian Act. We have nothing to lose but our chains.
We will, of course, need new legislation that is an interface between the Federal government and First Nations. And this MUST be created alongside Chiefs and First Nation governments every step of the way. But it is time to move past the era of this outdated, racist, and patriarchal legislation.
I support Prime Minister Carney’s work to position Canada as a global leader in human rights and democracy. The Indian Act is inconsistent with achieving that vision.
Our laws at home should reflect the values we champion around the world.
It’s time for a relationship with First Nations people that reflects who we are as Canadians today, recognizes nationhood, and lives up to the true nature of reconciliation.

Flashback: TRUDEAU gave the natives $5 billion for drinking water
Carney is giving them $12 billion more today
What do they do with all the money? Surely it's not on water 🤔
"Access to safe drinking water is an internationally recognized human right."
@MarkJCarney is investing over $12B in First Nations communities, targeting critical infrastructure on reserves:
- $3.5B for education
- $4B for affordable housing
- $4.5B for clean water & wastewater systems

Carney announced a new over $3.5 billion over multiple years for First Nations workforce training, emergency preparedness, policing, and crime prevention.
That's on top of the previously reported $40.7 billion in 2024-2025.
Additional multi-year commitments, plus approximately $700 MILLION a year in ongoing funding.
That existing spending supports programs and services including education, health care, housing, infrastructure, and legal settlements.
Carney also announced discussions about a potential FIRST NATIONS SOVEREIGN WEALTH FUND, which could give First Nations a direct financial stake in major infrastructure projects. No specific dollar amount has yet been announced for that proposed fund. (Brookfield benefits no doubt)
💥Important note: these are not direct cash payments to every Indigenous person. In fact, much of this money is NEVER SEEN by the people it is intended for.
Canadians deserve clear numbers, measurable outcomes, and accountability for every tax dollar, and a plan to END THIS.

I keep hearing John Horgan described as a great centrist premier, most recently by Brad West on CKNW.
I strongly disagree.
Horgan rode the coattails of the strong economy he inherited from the BC Liberals, then introduced 35 new taxes that steadily eroded BC’s competitiveness. The economic consequences were not immediately apparent by some, but the cumulative damage is felt by everyone today.
Eby accelerated the decline, but Horgan laid the groundwork.
More racism in Canada.

Charging a speculation and vacancy tax on lots which owners cannot afford to develop has to be one of the meanest, stupidest and most useless taxes courtesy of the @BCNDP Eby regime. How does it create more affordable housing? Answer: It does not.
"EHT is charged...on empty development sites...can remain untouched because it is not financially viable...opposes Eby's promise to tax...unsold inventory...the notion they're...keeping them off the market to maybe make them more valuable is preposterous." westerninvestor.com/real-est…

I was a patriotic Canada since childhood, however after 10 years of Justin Trudeau I only feel embarrassment, shame and disgust. I live in a land where millions of supposed grown adults supported an insufferable imbecile up to and even after he resigned in disgrace. An individual with no applicable education, no experience and no transferable skills to assume the highest office in the land.
Any directive issued by Justin Trudeau should be declared null and void and any institutions contaminated by the stench of his presence should by dissolved and replaced.
