This was one of the things that came to mind after I joined a Community Builders Square on @NYXLYAPP , hosted by
@OnlyHommie .
The topic was: What should you stop doing before it costs you more time?
People shared their thoughts on procrastination and other habits that hold us back. But one part of the discussion that caught my attention was about helping people.
Some people felt that after being disappointed too many times, they would rather stop helping others altogether.
Then Lucky Zinny shared a perspective that made me think: we shouldn't allow the way people treat us to turn us into people who no longer want to do good.
And honestly, there's a lesson in that.
Of course, you can't keep helping people at the expense of your own peace. You need boundaries. You need to recognise when someone is taking advantage of you, and you need to know when to step back.
But there's a difference between protecting yourself and becoming cold towards everyone because of what a few people did.
You don't have to keep making the same mistakes, but you don't have to lose your kindness either.
Learn from people. Be wiser with your decisions. Set boundaries where necessary, but don't let bad experiences decide the kind of person you become.
That was one of my takeaways from the conversation on Nyxly App Square.

@Gali_Game turns the real ORE mining protocol into a place you can actually walk around in. Instead of staring at a grid of squares, you pick a spot on a shared pixel island, deploy SOL, and dig alongside other miners in a live town.

ORE runs ~80-second rounds on a 5×5 board (25 spots). Miners put SOL on the spots they like. One spot is selected on-chain as the winner and mints 1 ORE, split proportionally by the SOL on it. Ten spots per round are “solo” (one miner takes the whole ORE).
