Just want to give a shout to this Facebook page- Lapland on a budget, run by a lady called Cherry Stone. Absolutely priceless advice on how to get there and back without eating into the mince pie money. We had a great time and the kids loved it!

It’s funny how fast the Government can make mask wearing a requirement in schools but ask it to make generic uniforms or mandatory book rental schemes a requirement and suddenly its hands are tied by boards of management and decades pass with nothing happening.
I'm sure it's an incredible amount of organising to get the whole city involved in @Winterval_WAT, it has definitely paid off again this year! Even with tweaks and some restrictions it's still a wonderful family experience to soak in in the festive atmosphere in Waterford!
Some more beautiful #magicmoments shared with us from #winterval @WaterfordCounci Thanks to everyone for sharing! Keep ‘me coming 🤩
