GMetturk $200 to $37k in 20 days challenge continues Over the last 20 days, the market gave us plenty of good opportunities, so I’ve been LPing pretty heavily across both DAMMv2 and DLMM on @MeteoraAG the final numbers: 20 days • 799 positions closed • 60% win rate • $71k fees farmed 💰 • $37k total PnL 📈 but there’s obviously another side to it. taking high-risk positions also means the losses can get expensive when things go wrong. during this period, I had 3 days where I finished down more than $1k, and one of them was a $2k+ losing day. after days like that, I think one of the most important things is not waking up and obsessing over yesterday’s loss. zoom out and look at how the whole week or even the whole month is going. focus on the bigger picture. another thing that helps me a lot: the LP videos I post are actually something I record primarily for myself. after a great position or a terrible one, going back and watching it is one of the best ways to analyze what I did right and what I did wrong. when you’re inside a position, emotions affect your decisions. once it’s closed, you can look at the exact same situation much more rationally. that’s why I keep reviewing recordings of my own positions and trying to reduce the mistakes I repeat. on August 8th, at the start of this 20-day challenge, I started with the TOAD heart attack DLMM that I also shared on Twitter. 2 SOL → 36 SOL. after that, I only kept as much SOL(20-30) in my trading wallet as I actually needed and continuously moved profits somewhere I wouldn’t touch them. this way, even while taking high-risk positions, I knew that even if the entire trading wallet got wiped, I’d still be profitable when looking at the bigger picture. that alone makes it much easier to take positions comfortably without feeling like every trade is putting everything at risk. LPing is also a lot about momentum. if I start having losing days or losing positions back to back, I reassess the market conditions. if the environment no longer feels suitable, I reduce my risk and scale the wallet back down. but stepping back just because I had one losing day is also a mistake. if I had stopped LPing after my first $1k or $2k losing day or immediately switched back to tiny positions out of fear I wouldn’t have ended this period with anywhere near the same profit. I usually only start seriously thinking about reducing risk if I’ve closed 3 days in a row in the red. but when I’m on a streak of profitable days and the market keeps giving opportunities, I don’t want to step back too early either. I try to maximize that window while it lasts. 📈 losses are part of the process. you can’t expect the upside without accepting that some days will go completely against you. the goal isn’t to avoid every loss. it’s to make sure the wins outweigh them when you zoom out. wishing you all profitable LPs ,thanks for reading 🫡
