In 2013, the UK had something called the "horse meat scandal" in which instead of beef being used for meat sold in supermarkets, horse meat would be substituted in (still labelled as "beef").

Obsession fans are quite new to the slasher scene by the looks of things because they seem to struggle with the idea of the slasher being a victim, but that's been the case in a good few movies such as TCM where the main slasher is a victim of his family as well
