Andy Rourke was an incredible person; clever, kind and deeply funny. He and my dad were brothers and seeing them stand together in these last months was a profoundly moving experience. I’m grateful for the joy Andy brought to our lives. The joy is what I’ll remember.

Ryan helped with my mental health (before we had the language for that), Ross reassured me i was smart enough and encouraged me to pursue further education and a career in literature, Gary hugged me when I cried over my first break up and he made sure I always felt seen and loved

The Cribs made incredible, important music, but they also lived in the house when I was growing up. They were down the corridor while I was doing my GCSES, ate my terrible homemade biscuits and instilled in me good values every single day.
