Had an excellent time thinking and developing this workshop! And of course got to be in a place among people who have offered so much warmth for my practice❤️ Thank you @rethinkingfable ❤️
A huge thank you to everyone who joined 'Writing Environmental Fables in Kent!' and made it such a rewarding session. Let’s keep the conversation going! 🌿 Special thanks to
@itswhilereading for designing this fantastic workshop. 🙂
Reviewed a beautiful, important book, Gathering, published by @404Ink in @SanctuaryAsia for its October 2024 issue. I loved reading all the essays. Definitely recommend picking it up! For more insight, do read the review.

Fable from Asia recording is up. Thank you @rethinkingfable for initiating this project and having us on board. I learnt so much just by listening in those two days.Looking forward to the next set of events!
One from the Tree Watch Walks being led by children. It's a slow process. But I hope it continues...
Day 1 at the Global Fables symposium was informative. I learned so much about species I am unfamiliar with. Looking forward to Day 2 tomorrow.

Congratulations @DrMattWhittle and Jade Ong !!! So happy when I finally saw this arrive in the book mail. Really admire the writing going on here and how accessible you have tried to make it.
A sincere thanks to the Creative Writing Reading Series, faculty and students who attended it and listened so intently to our work. Thank you @DrMattWhittle, Rohit and Bharanee for offering amazing conversations that have only made my work richer here!
The questions at the end of the Reading were as enriching as the journey I had the opportunity to witness. I am taking some of those questions home. I hope to raise myself with these questions and pauses. Hopefully the work will raise itself too.
These pictures are from a set where I am reading an essay on crows, (building) a new parliament and conversations through Mtnl bills (if you remove the comma, there might as well be a great story there someday). The picture is just of July rains in Delhi.
As part of the Creative Writing Reading Series hosted by @scarthomas @UniKentEnglish @ArtsHumsUniKent, Nikita and I read some of our recent works on Place and Space. We divided the set into 4 currents that are currently flowing in our work: intention, abstract, memory & space.
