To my patriotic friends who are concerned about the results of the Toronto municipal elections and the future of this beautiful country: The fight continues. I survived the IRGC in Iran. My Jewish friends survived the October 7th terrorist attack. We all survived the COVID tyranny under Justin Trudeau’s regime. We will survive Olivia Chow too. Life goes on. Stay strong! The past is the past. Move forward!

Emily Damari writes on her Instagram: Just think that just a year and-a-half ago I had to beg for water… Today I am free, and exercising my right to vote, which is also my duty. To vote and influence the future of our country. I used to fight for the right to live, today I’m voting for how we live. Nothing should be taken for granted 🇮🇱 “

Flaming Nazi symbols in front of a Jewish residence at Western is just another example of how anti-zionism is usually expressed in an antisemitic way. It doesn't matter whether which it is because Jews are the target regardless
A Nazi swastika targeting Jewish students near Western University in London, Ontario, has led to hate-motivated charges, one of several recent cases highlighting how Canada's new Combatting Hate Act (Bill C-9) is being put to use. Our Jewish community -- across the board -- advocated for this vital legislation that provides authorities with more tools to hold hate offenders accountable and better protect institutions of vulnerable communities from hateful protests and incidents. Swipe through these cases that demonstrate the importance of giving law enforcement the tools to confront hate directed at our and other communities But enforcement needs to be consistent across the country. That's why we're calling on Justice Minister @SeanFraserMP to urgently advance the convening of federal, provincial and territorial governments to coordinate enforcement of existing and new hate laws.

Christians in Africa are being mass slaughtered. Why is nobody talking about this?

Good job, officers.
German police are amazing. Anyone wearing the terror flag of Palestine gets arrested. The world is awake now.

There are more Muslims voting in the Israeli elections then there are Jews with the right to vote in the entirety of every Middle East country in aggregate

Terrible apartheid. Forced to ride camels and donkeys instead of driving cars. Arab Bedouin voters arrived to vote in Israel today.

We need one for the CBC as well
Pains me to say it, but there needs to be an independent inquiry into anti-semitism at the BBC. Lucie Kon's allegations - some of which are set out in this @TimesRadio interview - are so serious they can't be brushed aside. Over to you @lisanandy. youtube.com/watch?v=LMH6HdEV…

Israel Election Explainer: Winning the most seats doesn't mean winning the election. And tonight's exit polls show us exactly why. Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud is projected to be the largest party in the Knesset. But when you add up the seats won by parties that are willing to govern together, the picture gets much more complicated. Here's the breakdown (61 seats is the magic number to form a government): ➡️ Netanyahu's bloc: ~50 seats. These are parties generally aligned with Netanyahu and considered potential partners in his government. ➡️ The anti-Netanyahu bloc: ~53 seats. These are parties opposed to another Netanyahu government, although they don't necessarily agree on who should lead the country or what policies to pursue. ➡️ Arab-led parties (take that "apartheid"): 17 seats. These parties also oppose Netanyahu but are counted separately because they are not part of the main Zionist opposition bloc. Remember, 61 seats are needed to command a majority in Israel's 120-seat parliament. Neither of the two main blocs has enough seats to govern on its own. So what happens next? Once the official results are in, Israel's president consults with the elected parties and decides which member of parliament has the best chance of forming a government. That person gets the first opportunity to assemble a coalition. Netanyahu may get the first chance because Likud is projected to be the largest party, but that is not automatic. The president must consider who can actually assemble a majority. Then come the negotiations. Party leaders will bargain over who joins the government, what policies it pursues, and who gets which cabinet positions. And here's the twist: it's entirely possible that neither side will succeed and Israelis will hold another election.

First the world hated the Jews. Now they hate Israel See a pattern?
Today, the UN inquiry on Israel accused the Jewish state of “crimes against humanity.” Despite claiming to be an impartial investigative body, Commissioner Chris Sidoti has previously called for Israel to be “demilitarized” — and he denied that Israel holds democratic elections.

How to explain the silence of prominent Australians during @KingAbdullahII’s Canberra visit? Why was my murdered Melbourne-born daughter not mentioned? Why no questions to the royals about the Jordanian who murdered her and who’s kept illicitly safe from American prosecutors in Jordan? Which rule of etiquette calls for the harboring of a fugitive terrorist to go delicately unaddressed when a king comes calling?
What was unjustifiably missing from their agenda was any mention of two people. An Australian girl of 15, a talented musician who brought light into every room she entered. And a Jordanian woman of 21 who, for good reason, calls the @Sbarro pizzeria massacre “my operation”.

Muslim values are diametrically opposed to Western Values. READ THE KORAN
As we mark Islamic Heritage Month, we celebrate the rich histories, cultures, contributions and diversity of Muslims across Ontario. This month is an opportunity to reflect on the values of inclusion, respect, and belonging that strengthen our society.

An eloquent, sobering and - for Jews like me - a sombre piece. The re-election of "nice" Chow is a bad omen for Toronto and for Canada.
My reaction to last night's result in my hometown: "A vote for Chow was, if nothing else, a vote that didn’t care about what Toronto’s Jewish community has suffered. In the overwhelming majority of cases, I suspect people never even thought about it at all."

Ah, here we go. The move from "Bibi is the devil" to - "it does not matter which leader Israel's has"... The propagandist's trick before every Israeli election. xitter.cf/RepRashida/status/2114…
Regardless of which war criminal becomes prime minister, Palestinians living under Israeli apartheid will continue to face genocide, land theft, and erasure. We cannot accept lies, excuses, or half-measures from our leaders. We must impose a full arms embargo and sanctions until Palestine is free.

An exciting and historic day to be in Israel!
We landed in Israel on Election Day, got to our Tel Aviv hotel, found a friend’s recommended schwarma place & proceeded to people watch. And election watch. I don’t know if this candidate’s right or left but I do know that this is democracy. This is #Israel. Its people love it.

I’ll always remember this tragedy at the Tree of Life synagogue; may we continue reaching for a world without anti-✡️ hate (or any hate).
8 years ago, 11 innocent people at the Tree of Life synagogue here in Western PA were brutally murdered in a vile, antisemitic attack. Today and always, we remember Joyce, Richard, Rose, Jerry, Cecil, David, Bernice, Sylvan, Daniel, Melvin, and Irving.
