Just a few months ago, Islamic terrorists massacred an entire Christian community in Congo. Over 60 people slaughtered in an hour.
Thousands of Christians are slaughtered in Congo and the world remains silent. Thousands more Christians are slaughtered in Nigeria, Ethiopia and other parts of North and Central Africa, and the media say nothing.
The Pope continues to tell the world how Muslims are your friends and brothers while priests and community leaders cry over rivers of blood those “friends and brothers” leave in their path to wiping out non Muslims from existence.
We’re living in dark times. Possibly the darkest in memory. Because it isn’t just that these atrocities are happening in such frequency, but that half the non Muslim world seems to defend those perpetrating the mass killings.

As we prepare for early voting on Monday, we’ll be handing out a Vote Card at Prestonwood that will share dates, links to County Election sites so you can pull your sample ballot, locations and times to vote. Governor Abbott came to Prestonwood today and shared his faith and spoke in our 11:00 service of the calling of God upon his life including what he describes as his come to Jesus moment. I am grateful for our governor and the conservative politics he represents that aligns with our biblical worldview as followers of Jesus. His story is remarkable. You can watch this service online at Youtube.com/prestonwood We had a very powerful time of prayer in the service as well as in my office.
