How about this? Stop trying to choose the ticket before the competition even starts. Sure either way this appears to be a strong ticket but it’s still over a year before the first primaries. It’s WAY too early.
There are rumors, denied by the State Department, that Rubio is considering stepping down as SOS to prepare a 2028 presidential run.
For sake of argument, if Vance were not running, which would you prefer - a Rubio / DeSantis ticket or a DeSantis / Rubio ticket and why?

You make some good points but I genuinely have to ask; how much of Trump 2.0 is actual good or temporary good implemented by Executive Order?
Trump 2.0 has done a lot of good in 2 years. Secured the border, scrapped USAID, reduced crime, fixed the military, etc.
But the fact is the messaging around all of this has been terrible. I’m as plugged in as anyone and I see very little about the administration’s successes. All I see is them playing defense.
I mean when the best Iran war PR is coming from Scott Bessent, who runs the Treasury, that’s a problem.
During Trump’s first term he could do all this himself as people still watched television; the press conferences were legendary.
But that’s no longer the case and the administration has had a hard time finding the correct media for communicating their wins (which is why they should hire me).
And when shit is expensive this is particularly dangerous, as struggling taxpayers see little-to-no ROI for their suffering.
So either make shit cheap or do a better job of promoting your Ws (or both).
Because if you don’t you can kiss the country you fought so hard to save goodbye.

The problem with a 3rd party is that it has the same power dynamics as the Dems and Reps. Everyone wants to leverage the party for their own personal power
What is needed is a path to get candidates on a ballot, and allow them to get support based on what they commit to doing for their constituents, no party involved.

The filibuster is NOT in the Constitution. It is a Senate RULE. A simple majority - 51 votes, or 50 plus VP JD VANCE - can change it in a single afternoon.
Do that, and the SAVE AMERICA ACT and the rest of the TRUMP agenda pass with 51 votes. The House passes them. TRUMP signs them!
HERES THE GOOD PART! - The Democrats can't undo any of it!
Repeal needs TRUMP'S signature, and he would VETO it. Overriding a veto takes TWO-THIRDS of both chambers. Democrats won't have that.
Those laws would stand until 2029 at the earliest. 🔥
