Apex Magazine is doing a subscription drive, the number of subs they get will determine the future of the magazine. Apex is one of the best we have, and deserve our support. Short fiction needs our support, so if you can, now is the time. apex-magazine.com/apex-blog/…

Today is the LAST DAY of our subscription drive. Our goal was 300 subscribers to keep our issue sizes the same for 2024. We are currently shy of 200 subscribers total. Any support helps apex-magazine.com/apex-blog/…

as we are 2 days away from reopening to fiction, a few things to remember: 1. death ☑️ 2. we encourage writers from all around the world to submit. We will pay you on whatever platform is best for YOU (not just paypal). 3. fast response, like decomposing in super rich soil

The opening of Tim Burton's BATMAN RETURNS is an absolute masterpiece. Not a word is spoken for the first 5 minutes of the film, in a total beautiful marriage of art and Danny Elfman's score. Did you recognize Paul Reubens AKA Pee-wee Herman as the Penguin's Dad?
