Very challenging morning with sloppy delivery after a big overnight move.
Took long enough but first buyside target achieved with another waiting overhead. One level to beat to get there.

So just in case you're following along, the mostly public face of The Bulwark is endorsing a Muslim Britherhood adjacent proven Anti-Semite. Ok, sure but that's not even the best part of this.
He's claiming that the opposing candidate will usher in internment camps, which would be a really uncomfortable fact, if his coworker and podcast partner had not floated someone with an actual Nazi internment camp guard symbol on his chest for President in 2028 prior to that candidate dropping out.

this will fraudulently pass in SF - like every nonsensical budget bloat year after year, while common sense props fail year after year
Is transit accountability a myth?
“Measure RTM has plenty of committees, reports, reviews, and procedures. But bureaucracy isn’t accountability.”
Just my opinion…

California just showed us exactly how far sanctuary politics will go. ICE agents showed up outside the Monterey County Jail in Salinas yesterday for a targeted operation, waiting to take one or more people into custody when they were released. Instead of cooperating, the sheriff put the whole jail on lockdown, stopped new bookings, stopped releases and closed it to visitors.
Then a county supervisor, Wendy Root Askew, walked right up to a federal agent on camera and told him nobody would be released while ICE was there. The agent asked her point blank whether they were going to keep people locked up past when they could legally go, just to keep them away from ICE. Her answer was, "They will not be released in a location where ICE is present." Think about that. Local officials would rather shut down their own jail and hold people longer than let federal officers do their job.
Here in Texas, our sheriffs work with ICE, and that's how it should be. When someone in the country illegally ends up in jail, they get handed over, not hidden.
California chooses to protect illegals over citizens!
Hey California are you going to keep voting Democrat?
Vote RED for candidates that will put Americans first.

So glad that the Omar case is in the good hands of The Only Judge In America. Rest easy.
JUST IN: DOJ seems to suggest that no charging decision has been made in its "complex" investigation of Rep. Ilhan Omar, urging Judge Boasberg to keep the search warrant under seal until it is "fully executed." s3.documentcloud.org/documen…

Does this surprise anyone? Not me — it is something I said would happen when he was campaigning. All Lurie knows is how to be a nepo baby — his only job was at Tipping Point, which was funded by Mommy Mimi and her rich pals. His job was throwing concerts and parties.
NEW: My colleagues and I spent months tallying up the $ that’s flowed through S.F. Mayor Daniel Lurie since he entered politics in 2023.
Enter the $164 million empire.

Google is ramping up "utilizing 3rd party compute capacity" and that this is creating "margin headwinds"
It sure sounds like AI contract demand and the value that AI contracts command is rising...
I wonder what ends up happening to $MARA's 4.8 GW of available AI power capacity?
$GOOGL on call: "Given the supply constraint environment, we started utilizing third party compute capacity at the end of Q3 and will ramp usage in Q4. We expect margin headwinds in the near term as we utilize this capacity. Moving to investments, our full year 2026 CapEx guidance range of 195 to $205 billion remain unchanged. We continue to expect our CapEx to increase significantly in 2027, and will provide further details on our Q4 call."

The Oregon school shooting vanished from the headlines. Here’s why: an armed carpenter followed the shooter in and stopped him. No one inside the school was allowed a gun. If it had been a coach or a teacher, they couldn’t have done it. Imagine if no one had stopped him.

Hey, 60 Minutes, now that the entire premise of your fake refugee story has been exposed as a scam, will you be retracting it?
Maybe you shouldn't have used a "prison and border abolitionist" and socialist as a primary source.
@bariweiss your credibility is on the line.
“They sent him to Ghana, with full knowledge that Ghana is systematically deporting refugees back to the very countries they fled,” says immigration attorney Meredyth Yoon.
60 Minutes obtained the names of all the people on a flight that left Texas on July 30th and took deportees to three countries in Africa, including Ghana. Of the 19 deportees 60 Minutes reached who were sent to Ghana, 17 say they were then transported against their will to countries U.S. immigration judges ruled they should not be returned to. Moussa Diawara was one of them. The Department of Homeland Security told 60 Minutes that Ghana had provided the U.S. with “diplomatic assurances for [Diawara’s] safety.”
Yoon says the U.S. government was warned about Ghana’s conduct in a lawsuit last year. Despite this, the U.S. sent 10 more flights to Ghana, which Yoon believes is a violation of international law. cbsn.ws/4zTVoQo
