100 tips I learned growing an iOS app to ~$5M in sales in 3 yrs, going through YC 1.5 times, and co-founding @Superwall 馃憞
.... and one more thing.
I was blown away when i realized 70% of new Superwall signup are on their first app ever, but only 10% of those apps reach the App Store 馃く
So we built Supervibes.com, an agent for building apps that make money: a hosted simulator, backends without extra accounts, an AI gateway, and TestFlight/App Store releases built in. Android & Web coming soon.

If your app makes $100K+ a month and you're not working with Tangent, you're most likely leaving a lot of money on the table.

Selling an app that has done $8,100 in the last 7 months. $900 in the last month. Best month hit $2,700.
Incredible product with tons of potential, just haven't put work into it in months because other apps took priority.
Take it off our hands for $35k, DM me for the link to the app + verified numbers
Just got off the phone with Apple. In one of my apps I offer 2 products - 1 weeky, 1 yearly.
In the USA only, i use @superwall for app2web
Weekly = In-app purchase
Yearly = Stripe
Outcome = rejected
Turns out, every "product" distinguished by the period / duration of your subscription that is offered on the web must also be offered in-app via IAP. Pricing can differ.
So in my case, since yearly was only offered on the web, I must include a yearly option in-app. but my yearly option in-app can be a different price.

how we scaled a korean learning app to nearly $500k arr in 6 weeks and the playbook we鈥檙e using to do it again in 2026
kori is one of the apps we鈥檙e building at mimic. here鈥檚 how we approached distribution:
start with real creators.
- test different hooks, formats and angles until you find something people actually watch.
use ai to scale the winners.
- take the formats that work and create variations with ai creators. change the voice, script, appearance and background.
keep testing.
- a viral video gives you a starting point. test which variations consistently drive attention, downloads and paying users.
real creators find what resonates. ai lets us run far more experiments around it.
month one: $8k spent across all funnels at a $0.23 cpm.
the more we test, the more we learn about what makes people stop scrolling鈥攁nd what makes them convert.
that鈥檚 the system we鈥檙e building at mimic.

ok... uh so I'm making a game... it's like if GTA & Apple Maps v1 had a baby
And that baby was a custom built engine that streams in OpenMapTiles (plus some other public domain mapping data) to render the entire earth as a playable open world game
Engine is all C++ with Metal (and Vulcan) renderer - which means this thing runs on ALL Apple platforms... yes even that one (ok not the watch... yet)
Right now it's just a sandbox world. No "game" - just layers and layers of systems. Earth scale procedural weather systems (rain, storms, clouds, wind, KpI, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc) which means you can see them coming from the distance and travel across the landscape in a timelapse. And every building has a procedurally generated interior.
There's also tons of vehicles, skateboarding (with skateparks), snowboarding (with ski resorts & lifts)
Also a photography mode with all sorts of fun goodies
The whole thing is a bit mad. Work's been insane right now and I wind down before bed by going through all of the work Claude has done that day, playtesting, writing up new project plans, and then kicking off the next day's projects across my 3 Macs in my house wirring on this all day with Opus 5.5 (maybe save that explainer for another crazy person Twitter screed)
Anyway, curious what you think. Now I can post my little updates here instead of blowing up all my group chats with the weird ideas I'm trying next.
