JC: 6’5 sophomore guard Damarion Vann-Kelly of Northwest Florida State delivered a nuclear 30-point performance, adding 4 rebounds while shooting 7 for 12 from beyond the arc and 11 for 20 from the field in a 76–62 victory over Vincennes. We caught up with Vann-Kelly postgame to break down how he found his rhythm and asserted himself throughout the night, what it means to have the trust of his teammates in moments like this, and how he stays composed in an environment like Hutch. His response said it all: “If you dog food, you gonna get ate.”
