#samsung Samsung get your shit together and rollback your Android Keyboard software back to before you started infecting it with AI slop code.
Tried writing the word "die" with swipe and it kept correcting to "soe" 3 times in a row.
"soe"??
That isn't even a word!! You know my spoken language. Why in the HELL is it auto correcting to unintelligible garbage??
This happens at least a dozen times a day with other easy 3-5 letter words!!
This Lindsay Clancy ordeal isn't new. Not by a long shot. This behavior has been celebrated for decades.
Remember in the 1993 movie The Joy Luck Club? We got to watch a woman drown her infant child out of spite for the father and as a means of escaping a marriage.
The idea of a man murdering his children to spite the mother is completely repugnant to those with a Y chromosome.

Today's the day.
It's been a long run. 30 years ago, I first started using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator when I worked on our High School Newspaper and Yearbook.
Then in college, I discovered Flash and started a very rewarding career in animation, advertising and game development. Adobe acquiring Macromedia seemed great at the time.
- The switch to a subscription model was the first strike. Being forced to pay for software and features we never wanted or used was exceptionally frustrating. Constant enshitification ensued with each new version. With no viable alternatives, forced participation in bad business ideas is anti-trust behavior.
- The pivot to AI bullshit that no one asked for (or were vehemently against) was strike two. AI art is a scourge. Later, finding out the EULA changes introduced a backdoor to allow Adobe to train its AI on our private files in the cloud was a blatant violation of trust in the sovereignty of our intellectual property.
- The recent shenanigans with dropping Animate was strike three. At the very least, they could have decoupled it from the Creative Cloud, applied an Apache license to it and thrown it to the open source community, but of course, they didn't.
I have replaced my entire pipeline with open source solutions and other paid alternatives.
So long, and thanks for the memories, #adobe.

The Oscars have lost all credibility.
I rarely beg for movies to end. This was one of them.
Without a doubt, one of the worst movies ever made. Had a strong start that took a hard turn onto the offramp to what-the-fuck-ville and wrapped a bow on it with a ridiculously stupid ending.
"Bro... let's remake From Dusk Till Dawn... but in Jim Crow Mississippi."
‘SINNERS’ has broken history as the MOST-NOMINATED FILM OF ALL TIME at the Oscars with 16 nominations

The HP Thunderbolt Dock I have just stopped working today.
Blinking white light. No power to the laptop.
Power cycles and holding the power button down doesn't factory reset it.
Literally 24 hours out of warranty.
I bought this in March, @HP. This is absolute horse shit.

For context, if the $370B EPA slush fund that is managed by John Podesta were a country's GDP, it would rank 41st in the world, almost equivalent to the GDP of Nigeria, and higher than 140 other countries worldwide.

I want y’all to think for a second about the ridiculousness of this claim.
NBC News confirms:
A woman told the House Ethics Committee earlier this year that she once saw Matt Gaetz have sex with a minor.
The woman's lawyer says she testified before the Committee "that she witnessed Rep. Gaetz having sex with a minor at a house party in Orlando in 2017." nbcnews.com/politics/politic…

THE SECRETS OF THE CLONE TROOPERS includes a first look at Sister, a trans woman clone trooper 🏳️⚧️
Rex’s description of Sister in the book reads: “When one of our kind expressed her gender identity differently than her fellow troopers, she featured she’d have to hide who she truly was inside. Fortunately, her brothers in the 7th Sky Corps gave her the name Sister as a constant reminder that she belonged”

Hi Mike. 👋
Let’s go over this again.
The Greenland ice sheet contains ~2.9 million gigatons (Gt) of ice, the equivalent of 2.9 million billion tons. 🧊
Yes, that’s right. Math is involved. 😊
Now, if the ice sheet is losing 30 million tons of ice per hour, that works out to 720 million tons of ice per day, or 262.8 billion tons of ice per year. 🫠
Sounds scary! 😱
‘Til you realize at that rate it’d take more than 11,035-years for the entire ice sheet to melt. And, while the rate of loss might accelerate or decelerate, this calculation doesn’t take into account annual snowfall accumulation, and is based on flawed GRACE gravity measurements.
