#VerifiedEducationalRequest I’m reaching out to ask if you’d consider supporting a bright girl whose education has been funded by your support for the past two years. She’s secured an MSc Microbiology seat at a govt college. Her ₹28,000 tuition is covered, but she needs ₹24,500 for hostel fees. She comes from a very difficult background. Her father, a daily wage labourer, met with a tragic accident at work and is now paralysed. Her mother works under the 100-day labour scheme (NREGA). The family has no stable income. We have personally verified their situation including speaking to the doctor who treated her father. I'm happy to share medical documents if needed. What she now needs is help to cover her hostel fee of ₹24,500. Even a small contribution from your end can secure her stay and help her focus on studies. Thank you for reading and for believing in the power of education. Helping one student move forward changes not just her life, but her entire family's future. You can also make the donation directly to the hostel’s bank account. Please DM me for her hostel fee details and UPI.

What allows the Minister of Tourism, Haryana @drarvindksharma to encroach upon Rose Garden and block the walkway which is used by Citizens everyday? The retaining wall is also being extended into the park premises. @ManishTewari @chandigarh_admn @MCChandigarh

I think India has completely misread the biggest economic shift of the last decade. Unfortunately the Government of India has failed. Not marginally. Not partially. It has failed in a big way. For years we have been told that India is the fastest-growing large economy in the world. That our demographics are unmatched. That our consumption story is intact. That global investors cannot ignore us. Yet look at what has actually happened. Over the last 4–5 years the world witnessed one of the biggest reallocations of capital in modern history. Trillions of dollars moved. The US attracted capital into AI. Taiwan became the semiconductor capital of the world. South Korea became a key beneficiary of the memory and AI boom. Vietnam emerged as a manufacturing destination. Singapore strengthened its position as Asia's capital hub. UAE became a magnet for global entrepreneurs and family offices. And India? India largely watched from the sidelines while continuing to sell the same consumption story. The numbers tell the story. Net FDI inflows into India have fallen sharply from their peak years. Private equity activity has slowed materially. Venture capital funding is a fraction of what it was during the 2021 cycle. Foreign investors have been net sellers for prolonged periods. And despite all this there seems to be very little introspection within the system.. Instead every explanation sounds familiar. "It's a global issue." "It's temporary." "It's an AI bubble." "It's because of interest rates." At some point we need to stop explaining away reality. Capital does not care about narratives. Capital follows opportunity. And we failed to create enough of it. China built manufacturing ecosystems that are still decades ahead of us. America built the world's most powerful innovation engine. Taiwan built the semiconductor backbone of the digital economy. India built compliance. Ask any foreign investor. They worry about: * tax uncertainty * regulatory complexity * currency depreciation * capital movement restrictions * compliance burden * endless approvals These are not ideological issues. These are execution failures. What makes this even more worrying is that India continues to depend heavily on a consumption-led growth model. But where does that consumption come from? A large part comes from: * salaried professionals * IT employees * financial services * real estate-linked employment * urban middle class spending Now look at what AI is doing. Whether people like it or not this is no longer a passing theme. It is already reshaping hiring. It is already reshaping productivity. It is already changing how businesses think about incremental headcount. If India misses this wave as well then the consequences will not be limited to the IT sector. The ripple effects could hit: * housing demand * automobiles * travel * entertainment * premium consumption * retail spending The second-order impact may be larger than the first-order impact. And yet where is the urgency? Where is the national AI mission at scale? Where are the world-class research incentives? Where are the regulatory reforms to attract global capital? Where is the accountability from bureaucrats who have repeatedly missed these shifts? The most dangerous assumption being made today is that demographics will save India. Demographics are not an advantage by default. They are only an advantage if jobs are created faster than aspirations. Otherwise demographics become pressure. And pressure eventually becomes unrest. The world is moving faster than at any point in modern history. The uncomfortable truth is that India is not competing against its own past anymore. India is competing against countries that are moving with far greater speed and urgency. The next 3 years will decide whether India becomes a genuine economic superpower or remains a country endlessly talking about its potential. Potential does not attract capital. Execution does.

It's funny that the armed forces have to hire Agniveers and schools & colleges have to hire temps because we can't give pension, no money saar, but we can totally recruit 300 extra MPs and pay for bungalows, security, pension, health, etcetc.

Indian Man Urinates by Pattaya Roadside, Refuses to Heed Warning, Gets Pushed, Falls, and Hits Head on Ground October 13, 2025 Reporters learned from Chonburi Province that the radio center of the Sawang Boriboon Dhamma Sathan Foundation Pattaya Rescue Unit was notified of an assault resulting in injury. The incident occurred in front of Lanway Market, on Pattaya Sai Song Road, Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. After receiving the notification, coordination was made with Pattaya City Police Patrol officers and volunteer rescue staff to rush to the scene. At the scene, MR. Rama (family name withheld), 52 years old, an Indian national, was found injured, having hit his head on the ground, lying still in a pool of blood. Rescue staff provided initial first aid, performing CPR in an effort to save his life before urgently transporting him to the hospital. The perpetrator had fled before the police arrived. Upon questioning a motorcycle taxi driver who witnessed the incident, he provided information that the Indian tourist was urinating by the roadside fence. He informed him that he could not urinate there and should go into the market as there was a restroom available. However, the man refused to listen. Moreover, the friend of the said Indian man ceaselessly argued with the person who told him to stop. The person who tried to stop them then chased, slapped, and pushed them along the road until the Indian man lost his balance while stepping back, fell, and hit his head on the ground. Meanwhile, the injured man’s friend recounted that MR. Rama Krishna, 52 years old, Indian national, did walk to urinate by the roadside, but four Thais came to reprimand and forbid him from urinating, leading to a verbal argument, which escalated to physical assault. The Thai person punched and then shoved MR. Rama, causing him to fall backward and hit his head on the road, resulting in injury. After the incident, a good samaritan quickly notified the authorities for help. Initially, CCTV footage recorded some parts of the incident. This has been handed over to the police as evidence to track down the perpetrator and proceed with legal action according to the judicial process. #Thailand #Pattaya
