Congratulations to Coach Jared Dees and Class of 2026 graduates Mary Maher, Kambria Martin, and Mary Stack for taking the field to represent Saint Joe at the inaugural All-Indiana Girls Flag Football All-Star Game at Grand Park!
While the North All-Stars fell just short in a 22-12 battle against the South, our Huskies made an impact on the field. Most notably, Saint Joe's own Mary Stack delivered all 12 points for the North with 2 touchdown passes!
What a season! I was blessed with the opportunity to coach the first Girls Flag Football Team at Saint Joseph High School this year.
I was inspired by their positivity, encouragement, and support for one another. It was a special group of girls and an unforgettable year.

Five South Bend Tribune area girls flag football teams begin sectional play this Wednesday at East Noble. Here is the full bracket, including matchups like Penn vs. SB Riley, Garrett vs. SB Adams, and SB Saint Joseph vs. Elkhart.
Tonight my girls high school flag football team scored 67 points on a play called 67.
The team went absolutely crazy.

Reading this yesterday has made me a better father. Kids ask for a lot of little things during the day and it can get exhausting.
