If you think it’s rude to tell people God’s word, then you must think God is rude.

Found the next project for @MikeCosper: The Rise and Fall of Christianity Today
Christianity Today has seen about half its staff quit or laid off in the last 14 mos. Former employees told me that new business leaders have intervened in editorial decisions & are effectively abandoning the outlet's commitment to independent journalism. nytimes.com/2026/10/21/us/ch…

I’m historic pre-mil. This not good.
JUST IN: Elon Musk declares money will become irrelevant, predicting future currency will be measured in “wattage and tonnage.”

Horror is actually one of the last genres you can find Christian morality. The genre as a historic whole isn't as dangerous as Disney (Encanto) or related (Zootopia). Watch The Conjuring 2. One of the most Christian movies you'll ever see.

Allie is mistaken. The Bible uses horror as a genre repeatedly. Also, it’s one of the few genres where there is a clear good and a clear evil, and the evil rarely wins. Most of pop culture is truth and evil in a messy mixture. The Christian duty is to reject the evil and return the good to the God who gave it, by the Spirit through the Son to the Father. If you want to learn how to do this, read my book, The Pop Culture Parent.

When Satan turns a phrase… Atheist: “I just believe in one less God than Christians do.” Christian: “I believe in one God. And He tells me there are no other gods.” These are not the same. The atheist only believes himself, while arguing his brain is an evolved monkey brain.

It's time we start treating Islam like the political and social plague that it is.
As France is burning, I keep thinking of what the UAE Foreign Minister said a few years ago 👇 He accurately predicted this.

Things we love 🥰🥰🥰: Christian rapper Hulvey cancels a sold-out show in Amsterdam an hour before he was scheduled to appear, after the venue he was appearing at turned pout to have explicit and pornographic imagery on the wall. "I am not okay with people seeing what were on those walls and the type of things they could be exposed to. I answer to Jesus, I answer to God, and I have to do what he convicts me to do."

"God deplores it. He hates it." Elisabeth Elliot answers a question about what the bible says about homosexuality. “Scripture is crystal clear, absolutely crystal clear. Homosexuality is classified along with murder and adultery and everything else. It’s just, in that list of sins… What would give a homosexual person who claims that he was 'born that way,' what gives him the right to be sexually active when God has made it crystal clear that the only place for sexual activity is in the marriage bed?… What gives the homosexual the right to think that he has a special dispensation to sleep with members of the same sex? God deplores it. He hates it.”

Everyone seems to agree that Christianity Today is morally bankrupt at this point. A story in two pictures. If this were your church, I'm guessing there's a line where you would have to be like, "Hey man, you can't keep serving on staff with us and calling Elisabeth Elliot gay in your prominent national publication." You would think. But I guess if you're a "really nice and neat guy," maybe that line never comes.

I saw it tonight. Best case scenario: Wan is arguing that the demon has all the adults, because they’re all liars/sinners. He can kill the adults anytime he wants. He doesn’t have the children because they’re innocent/sinless. He wants the children to become sinners by asking him in their hearts through deception, much like the devil with Adam and Eve. Thus, once the child becomes a liar, he has her, even though it’s an illusion that the child wins. She’s actually lost, for now she’s a sinner. The end has a subtle hint that the mother is still like the demon. It’s Pelagian.
Saw Other Mommy tonight. Lots of legitimate jump scares. Ends up being a modern parable about spiritual & relational naivety. 🧵 (Spoilers Ahead) (1/)
