This blue wave should surprise absolutely no one. Frankly, it was inevitable. And to those clutching their pearls while desperately trying to redirect blame away from the very administration that spent the last two years squandering its opportunity to deliver on its promises... just stop. No one is buying the bullshit.. This administration was handed the presidency, Congress, and an extraordinary opportunity to fundamentally change the trajectory of this country. Two years to deliver on the promises that brought them to power. Instead, we got performative deportations of student visa holders, another foreign war involving Iran, and a spectacular betrayal of the America First agenda at the behest of the zionist puppetmasters that occupy Washington. The American people were promised a government that would finally prioritize OUR country, OUR interests, and OUR future. And once again, we were sold out. So no, I'm not particularly interested in lamenting the inevitable electoral consequences of that betrayal. But there is something far more consequential happening, and it transcends the increasingly MEANINGLESS distinction between Republicans and Democrats. A nation cannot survive indefinitely without a shared national identity, a recognizable culture, and meaningful borders. It is true that America has always been a nation of immigrants... But immigration and assimilation are not mutually exclusive concepts. In fact, the expectation that newcomers embrace the foundational principles of the country they have chosen to call home is precisely what allows a diverse population to maintain a cohesive national identity. And that is why I find the growing normalization of foreign national symbolism in American electoral celebrations so troubling. So far, I have witnessed Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed give his victory speech in Arabic, Rep. Ilhan Omar addressed her victory party in Somali and New York State Senator, Aber Kawas posted her victory graphic with a Palestinian flag... not an American flag in sight. While I acknowledge that speaking another language or honoring one's ancestry is not inherently un-American... I believe there is a legitimate conversation to be had about the distinction between celebrating one's heritage and the national identity represented by American public office. At what point do we stop treating questions about the erosion of our shared American identity as insignificant cultural disagreements? And how do we ensure that representing America and its citizens remains the foremost responsibility of those elected to public office? At what point does representing America become secondary to representing something else? This is not an argument against a blue wave. The Republican establishment has done plenty to earn its defeat. It IS an argument against the continued abandonment of America First, regardless of which party happens to be in power. America First cannot simply be a campaign slogan resurrected every election cycle and discarded the moment the votes are counted. It must mean something. If neither party is willing to defend American sovereignty, national cohesion, and the interests of the American people, then neither party deserves our loyalty. This blue wave may have been inevitable. But so too should be the demand for a genuine America First movement to rise to power. The continued erosion of our national identity is something Americans should refuse to accept... The next inevitable wave can't be limited to red or blue... the next wave must be AMERICA FIRST.
