So I had the tremendous honor of accepting the Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction, Sports for our @NASCAR Studios/@Bluefoot_tv show “Home Turn.” The show, about Daytona Beach around the track, is so damn good thanks to everyone involved behind the camera, but the music choices by the great @timothyhorgan are sublime, and the support from NASCAR's John Dahl (pictured with me) was invaluable. Also: when you’re walking onto a stage like that, the mic looks like it’s about half a mile away. And thank God for notes, because wow, does your mind goes blank at @TheEmmys.

the site houses a lot of work from other places (you’ll see links from The Athletic, for example) and I think this is an unfortunate case of nonsense — and it *is* nonsense — slipping through.
I’ve sent these over & I think they’re in the process of being removed from the site.
Played some truly terrible golf today, friends. Singlehandedly shrunk the game. Grown men wept. Augusta National sent me a first-ever disinvitation. But at least the frozen uncrustable at the turn was delicious.

BREAKING: Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 PM ET at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, per @ramonashelburne.
The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to accommodate the doubleheader.
By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500-seat Gateway Center.

The Atlanta Dream have sold out State Farm Arena for Game 3 of the WNBA Finals, per @FOS.
The 17,044-seat venue will host the game after a schedule change moved the Finals matchup from the Dream's 3,500-seat home arena.

So after being down 31-7, Falcons have pulled to within 31-23 of Chicago with 5:41 remaining in the game. Different team in the fourth quarter than the previous 3.
The Falcons were playing with house money after those two dominant wins over New Orleans and Green Bay. Two games later, they have now literally lost their house; Mercedes-Benz Stadium now thunders with cheers from Bears fans.
