A lot of traders get caught up trying to trade FOMC, chasing that potential 100%–1,000% gainer. But when you have a method that consistently gives you opportunities, you don’t have to chase one big news event. The market presents opportunities every day. You don’t need to force them. Sometimes the BEST way to trade FOMC is to NOT trade it at all.

The goal is to know WHY you’re entering, where you’re wrong, and what you’re risking. If you don’t know those three things, slow down before you hit buy.

didn’t create the Jaycee Three Step Method because I wanted to sell a strategy. I created it because I needed to fix my own mistakes with entries, stop losses, taking profits, and choosing premiums. The method came from solving real problems.

Just because an option contract is cheap doesn’t mean it’s a good buy. And just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean it’s the right one either. Learn what you’re actually buying.

Before you enter a trade, you should already know what would make you get OUT. If your entire exit plan is “hopefully it comes back,” you’re gambling with your account. Have a plan BEFORE you hit buy. And stop being addicted to hope

You can be 100% right about where $SPY is going and STILL lose money on your option. Direction is only one part of the equation. Your entry, your premium, and your exit matter too

The market doesn’t owe you a move just because you entered. A level can hold. A level can fail. A breakout can reverse. That’s why having a plan for BOTH outcomes matters more than being convinced you’re right.

My favorite thing about trading with predefined levels? I don’t have to sit there debating with myself while a trade goes against me. I already know where I’m supposed to get out. The hard part isn’t finding the level. It’s having the discipline to respect it.

One thing about my method is that it isn’t limited to options. Price action is price action. Crypto. Futures. Forex. Stocks. The same basic market structures show up across charts. I mainly use mine for $SPY and $IWM #0DTE.

I created my trading method by attacking my biggest weaknesses one by one. Entries. Stop losses. Taking profits. Choosing premiums. Instead of constantly searching for another strategy, I focused on fixing the things that kept costing me money.
