Reaction to yesterday was waaaay OTT IMO. We bossed the first half, conceded a fluke, and then a slip led to the second. They had way too much quality for us to get back into it from there We are without Josh, Ty, Connelly AND most of our games so far have been against top-half sides #bcafc

Can’t be dropping Bob for that game regardless of form. Wouldn’t have brought Jackson off at half time, Powell and Beesley duo is too static with no real runner. LONG way back for Duff now if he wants to try and win us fans back. #bcafc

To add to this, throwing Cartwright into this game with no minutes since Rotherham is appalling management. #bcafc

Yeah fair
"The finish is OUTSTANDING!" 👏 Joe Low scored with a brilliant overhead kick to put Huddersfield in front 🚲

Not a bad half at all. Been the much better team bar an exceptional finish from a CB. Can easily see a goal for us early on here then at them for the winner. Just need improvements in the final third with Powell and Bob. #bcafc

Hoping to see this man get a start tonight and smash it out the park. Got to remember Metcalfe was in and out until he cemented himself in December time. Big game tonight, get into the XI for Saturday and upwards from there. There’s a reason we paid a 6 figure fee for him. #bcafc

Really don’t get why people seem to be worried about today. Yes they’re a good team, but so are we. We aren’t where we are, or where we’ve been for the last year by mistake. Also, best defensive record in the entirety of the EFL. They are still there to be got at. UTFC. #bcafc

Really does go under the radar how much of a professional George Lapslie is. Doesn’t get enough credit for me. Can be left out for X amount of games yet still comes back in and gives 120% every time. Also, in my opinion it should be Lapslie 90+6 not Sarce😂 #bcafc

‘Poorer households on benefits will get extra support’ how about those households with people who work full time yet still struggle to make ends meet due to the ever rising cost of living? No no, let’s just help the dole dossing scrotes who don’t want to work even more!
🚨 NEW: John Healey is set to announce the following in his Budget later - The gas standing charge will be scrapped to save £27 a year on a typical bill - Green levies on energy bills will be scraped "for good" - NHS prescription charges will be frozen at £9.90 for another year - Poorer households on benefits will receive extra help with energy bills before January's sharp rises - The VAT cut on electricity bills, which was due to expire in April, will be extended (though it's not clear if this will be announced in the Budget or separately) - The Government will remove the link between gas and electricity prices, which currently inflates household bills, "in the long term" - Banks will face higher taxes, with the surcharge on their profits potentially rising from 3% to 8%, making it the Budget’s biggest revenue raiser - HMRC will be given powers to seize money from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their tax - The freeze on rail fares will reportedly not be extended beyond April - Online retailers like Amazon, eBay and Temu will be made responsible for collecting unpaid VAT from sellers to fund a cut in business rates for high street shops - The thresholds for income tax will be frozen again so another half a million people may be dragged into the higher rate - January's planned increase in fuel duty will be cancelled - Pensioners relying solely on the state pension will see their tax-free allowance rise to £13,036, in line with the pension increase, so they don't pay income tax - Billions in long-term borrowing to invest in defence firms and raise the share of GDP spent on defence (without breaking fiscal rules, as the investments are expected to generate returns) - The upcoming "Your First Home" scheme will be made more generous to provide greater support for middle-income earners - The Budget will also assume the Rosebank oil field is approved, which will generate "significant tax revenues"

Jake Beesleys best game for us that. Hopefully some of you that have been slating him none stop will realise what he can bring to us now when we don’t aimlessly hoof it up to him and play through him. #bcafc

We’ve had more bookings this game than we’ve conceded goals in the league this season. Embarrassing officiating yet again. #bcafc

Beesley has been excellent up top this half. Winning everything and hold up play has been much better than usual. Should’ve had an assist for Bob too. Ref has been waaaay to card happy, weirdly only for us😂 let’s put this to bed second half! #bcafc

Don’t get me started on this
Harry Kane winning the Ballon D’or is so bittersweet for us former #FootballIndex investors. A tough but much needed lesson upon reflection, doesn’t make this 2020 screenshot any easier to look at. Six years later and still no answers, accountability or funds recuperated.
