Ways to BURN yourself in the HS Recruiting Process that NO-ONE talks about:
Not taking ACT / SAT early
Not maintaining a 3.0+ (unweighted GPA)
Not always having an updated copy of a PDF transcript on hand
Not getting clips of drills, workouts, or camp 1v1s
Not updating your highlight tape
Not actively posting on X
Not sending out DMs/Emails Daily
Not understanding the recruiting calander
Not knowing your level of play
Not playing the right position
Not telling your Head Coach your goals
Not asking for help
Not organizing your highlights from Best to Great
Not clipping your highlight tape
Not NOT using slo-motion in your highlights
Not knowing your measurables and measurements
Not doing your research before handing your parents credit card over to every camp and recruiting service imaginable
Did i miss any⁉️🤔

The single most important advice I’d give to any High School or Middle School Offensive Lineman that wanted to play College Football…
Develop amazing flexibility in your hips!

College coaches spend time building summer plans that lead into fall, winter, and champ season. Often athletes come back burned out because they spent the summer chasing workouts instead of following a progression. The goal isn’t to win the summer.
