Storylines for #TexasHockey F Mikko Rantanen before game vs. Montreal #JEDLIstats
It looks like Dylan Larkin's time in #LGRW is coming to an end. Who will miss him the most? Lucas Raymond? He was never as productive with anyone else as he was with him. #JEDLIstats
#LetsGoOilers F Connor McDavid. I have many storylines for his game vs. Calgary in my #JEDLIstats system. Here are some of them:
- has an assist in all 12 of his games this season, tied for the longest season-opening assist streak in NHL history
- 34 points through his first 12 games, the 2nd player in NHL history with at least 34, after Mario Lemieux (41, 1988-89)
- 3 regular-season hat tricks against the Flames, tied with Bryan Trottier for the most in NHL history
- on pace for 238 points this season, 23 more than Wayne Gretzky's NHL record (215, 1985-86)
- with Leon Draisaitl: on the same goal 556 times in their careers, the most of any pair still playing
- NHL's 3rd-fastest skater this season, 38.6 km/h, Oct. 3 vs. Seattle
- 8 goals within two minutes of his club conceding in 2025-26 (last season), the most in the NHL
- has a point in 7 straight games vs CGY
- Calgary is one of the teams that foul him most, CGY drew 5 penalties out of him over the last 3 seasons
- recorded his first NHL assist vs CGY (Oct 17, 2015)
- has faced Mikael Backlund 49 times in the regular season and playoffs, back to October 2015, more than anyone else on this bench
and many many more...
So so so many Morning Notes from #JEDLIstats
I'm missing Matthew Schaefer, who played the entire 5 minutes of overtime – I still need to work on this stat. I'm thinking about creating some kind of graphic to put the info in. It'll probably be better than these screenshots. Could anyone help me create a logo for JEDLIstats, please?
#NJDevils G Connor Hellebuyck could make his first start for his new team in Dallas tonight. Storylines for him:
#JEDLIstats
- would make his Devils debut tonight, his 2nd NHL club
- Connor Hellebuyck and Tyler Myers played 183 games together with WPG
- 5 wins to 350 W, would be the third-fastest in NHL history to 350 wins, behind only Andrei Vasilevskiy (568 games) and Sergei Bobrovsky (624)
- 10 straight 20-win seasons
- a 5th-round pick in 2012, now past 600 NHL games
#lgrw G Michal Postava made 25 saves and stopped all three attempts in the shootout for his first career NHL victory. Do you know what POSTAVA means in Czech language? It is FIGURE. Or BODY. Or STATURE. 😉

Check out how I managed to make Leon Draisaitl laugh. I created collages where two players are always combined into a single photo. Leon’s task was to name them all. He did really well, but that "monstrosity" at 0:40 mark actually made him laugh. See for yourself. Could you name all the players?
I have a quiz for you. Imagine the following situation: your teammate is penalized and sent to the penalty box. Your team is about to play shorthanded. You’re available to the coach and he immediately sends you onto the ice to defend on the first faceoff in the defensive zone. Across the entire league, there are only 17 players whom the coach sent onto the ice EVERY TIME in this situation and didn’t leave them on the bench. Who are these players? Try to name some of them.
I’ll post the complete table from #JEDLIstats later.
Someone wanted me to post active TRIOS in the NHL.
