Jordan Spieth, Hole 11, Round 2, @JohnDeere Classic. Jordan pulled his tee-shot left into the hazard. His window out was tight as he yelled back to Greller whom stood over his ball. They opted to take nearest relief, dropping on the cart-path, still made bogey.

If there’s one family that is synonymous with amateur golf in Philadelphia, it’s the Walsh family. Longtime members of Philadelphia Country Club, the late William “Bill” T. Walsh (1991 GAP Senior Amateur Champion; GAP President from 1991 to 1994) and his wife of 60 years, Barbara, had 15 children, one of whom, Paul “Chet” Walsh, is one of the finest amateur golfers the Philadelphia area has ever seen.

Lost my dad unexpectedly. Nothing prepares you for this, and what I wouldn't give to hear his laugh one more time. So thankful for the adventurous spirit he gave us, and for his lifelong service at a medic and park service ranger. Miss you dearly, pops.

“It’s the first time we’ve had a site like this in America since Sand Hills,” says Bill Coore of Rodeo Dunes. (The duo’s 1995 design, No. 7 in The LINKS 100 world ranking, is 300 miles away on similar terrain in north-central Nebraska.) “It’s the type of property that goes back to the very beginnings of golf being played by the sea in Scotland, a link to 500 years of history. Anyone in our profession would consider it an extraordinary opportunity to work on a site like this.”

Year 3 in the books shooting the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. Always one of the best weeks of the year. A ton of fun working with, and watching, the best Junior players in the world. Congrats Miles Russell and Asterisk Talley on winning your second gold jackets!
