Interesting @NDFootball 2026 Schedule Update!!
As of the current @AP poll, ND has 4 teams on its schedule ranked in the Top 25:
Miami (1), BYU (8), SMU (19), and Wisconsin (25).
Just in the top 10, that is the same number of ranked teams as:
@GeorgiaFootball
@AlabamaFTBL
Just in the top 10, that is MORE than:
@CanesFootball (1)
@OhioStateFB (3)
@IUHoosiers (2)
@Utah_Football (3)
@UCLAFootball (1)
@BYUfootball (2)
Only @UKFootball has more than the Irish (5).
Perhaps the talking heads at @ESPN or on @CollegeGameDay can stop with their season-long narrative that ND doesn’t play anyone. Zero facts to support that contention, just 100% bias designed to relegate the Irish to a “2 game season”…when it clearly is not!

Marcus Freeman addressed the controversial ending of the BYU-Notre Dame game during his postgame press conference.
While Freeman acknowledged how he may have felt about the officiating in the moment, he refused to point fingers at the officials and instead took responsibility.
"That's not what we do around here. We own it."

FOX rules analyst Mike Pereira told The Athletic that the ending of the BYU-Notre Dame game was “embarrassing for all officiating” and that Notre Dame should “get one more play.”
The Irish were at the center of two officiating controversies Saturday night: a potential missed defensive pass interference call and questions over whether one second should have remained on the clock after the final play.
Thanks to Cal Stone and Greg Martz for putting up this Zebra 🦓 for us to run thru before tonight’s game to celebrate officials appreciation weeks! @CalStone12 and the Rochester High School staff always take care of the officials! @IHSAA1_Official @shipdog27 @Treebranch2121

AHS and Lakeland had the privelege of having these young men refferee their game tonight. Always the utmost professional.

NEW: The father of a #FortWayne basketball standout is suing a local basketball coach, claiming the coach defrauded the player's family out thousands of dollars in an #NIL scheme.
Got to take my Dad back to (The Cathedral of College Football) Notre Dame stadium. Where he served as an usher for many years. Great night and surprisingly didn’t get too wet. Go Irish! ☘️
