Thank you Matt Hall, & staff, for delivering this Special Tribute to #glcsMS today. We are fortunate to have excellent teachers who make ALL the difference. @PLTWorg @DrewBordner @Burl_Brott13 @mrhawkinsGL @jessdarkscience @jboerman75 #gogulllake
We dissected sheep brains in Medical Detectives today. Students said it was “cool but weird.” #glms #glcs #gogulllake

Did you know that people’s #1 fear is public speaking. #2 is dying! We practiced @ChrisWidener’s secrets of how to talk to Anybody, Anywhere, Anytime. Ss did 2 minute “speed interviews” where they tried to connect with everyone in the class. #lifeskills #gogulllake #glms #glcs
Students participated in an egg drop today to simulate protecting passengers while landing on a foreign planet. #gogulllake #glms #glcs #Pltw #flightandspace
Students created water filtration systems to clean dirty water. This is a very simple version of what they have on the international space station. #gogulllake #glcs #glms

Wow. This was a special moment. I think Dad would be pretty proud that we’ve become the first to successfully breed the turtle that he discovered. A rare, and unique species under threat in the wild has just been given a second chance.
Did you know it can take up to 20 minutes for a message to travel from Earth to Mars? Students experienced delayed & relayed messaging in this game simulating the difficulties of space communication #gogulllake #glcs #glms
Students dissected brains today in Medical Detectives class! Ss saw first hand all the different parts of the brain. Most thought it was “awesome, but a little bit gross”. #pltw #medicaldetectives #glcs #glms #gogulllake

We had a PERFECT launch today! Students built model rockets as part of our Rocket Unit, and got to see what real rocket fuel does for propulsion! Students were SO EXCITED to launch. #gogulllake #flightandspace #PLTW #glcs #glms

My dad’s @espn ad will always make me laugh 😂👌
We are investigating rocket propulsion vs. fuel this week in Flight and Space. We launched stomp rockets with air as our “fuel” today. Newton’s 2nd law played a role in how the mass of our rockets affected acceleration. #gogulllake #glcs #glms #pltw
Students investigated air resistance to increase drag in order to create the best parachute. #pltw #gogulllake #glcs #glms
