Peter Thiel might be onto something here…
aleximas.substack.com/p/what…
FWIW I think he’s missing important dimensions like desire for human connection, empathy, shared understanding, which will be important for the future of jobs in healthcare, education, etc.
Walter Isaacson asks Peter Thiel what humans can uniquely do in the AI era.
Thiel: "We're very relational… these relational dimensions will become more important."
When knowledge is worth $0, the only career skills that matter:
- networking / social calibration
- persuasion (sales)
- curiosity (harnessing AI)
- taste (curation)
- storytelling
- grit
- golfing with clients (or equivalent)
We'll get so sick of a fake world that we'll go back to doing business like it's the 1800s. A handshake at the local saloon.

Sooo incredible. I feel like we’re reliving the early Internet all over again. But juiced 10000x

Technical moats are mostly over at this point. If you’re building something that is meant to be durable, the only moats now are:
• Proprietary data
• Network effects
• A physical component

The limit on software used to be engineering and now it's mostly imagination.
I'd spend a lot more time on the version of my idea that makes people say "wait, what is that?"
Most software looks the same, so anything that looks different gets noticed, shared and remembered.
This has never been more true. The opportunity cost of endless planning and contemplation just went way up. Agents allow you to just try vastly more stuff, so let them, and you'll learn way more, way faster.

If I was just moving words around then yeah it would be a waste.
To me it feels like I'm trying to build good software practices, and the distribution mechanism is skills.
My bet is that good software practices haven't changed and likely won't change very much.
I was trying to get some 3d mockups to add to screen slick but could not find what I was looking for so
I built thing 🙂
A 3d mockup playground with Three.JS
will open source when done.
Will also be a free tool on screenslick
You better get the early bird price.🙂

Openclaw's @steipete at @ycombinator; takeaways
All apps will become APIs or disappear
Apps that will remain will be games or sensor-heavy
Your agent, not you, will be the primary consumer of software
Personal AI agents will quietly take over daily workflows
We are possibly in the year of the personal agent

don't put your moltbot on a mac mini - use sandboxed cloudflare workers instead ☁️
this is what I wanted! i tried to build my own agent using workers ai but couldn't get it right but this looks very useful - sandboxed, secure access, r2 storage
We ported @openclaw to Workers.
- Sandboxed by default
- Remote storage using R2
- Zero Trust for secure access
- AI Gateway for LLM analytics, cost-analysis
So many interesting things to dig into here. What a weekend ship!

for non-technical people:
this means you just clone the same repo into a bunch of folders and start an agent in each!
use the github cli and it’s very easy:
gh repo clone owner/repo repo-1
if you wanna get fancy ask an agent to write a script to create them in bulk!

this is a super cool vibe coded app by @jessems for coin collectors to verify a coin is authentic by the sound frequency when you ping it!
now making $2k/mo for a tool that is incredibly useful for collectors
