Finished off with a very respectable 4th place in the 200m freestyle and another PB 1.51.9. Only qualified in January in Luxembourg so we’ll take that! Huge thanks to @jevans88 for his brilliant coaching and support even without our pool to train in! @SwimLeic @GreensSafety

BAD PLAYERS don’t take much seriously. AVERAGE PLAYERS take games seriously. GOOD PLAYERS take practice & games seriously. GREAT PLAYERS take academics, nutrition, warm-ups, ind. work, weight room, conditioning, film, practice & games seriously. ~ via @CoachJonBeck

Coaches need to look after themselves With long (unsociable) hours, travel, complex problems to solve, sometimes a lack of sleep & good food - life for a coach can be tough If you want to be at their best for the athletes you coach, treat yourself like a performer too 🧵
