I used to think that feeling anxious about a hard conversation was a sign of weakness. Now I know that understanding the weight of our work is a sign that we are perfectly equipped for the work. Feel the fear, but then go do the hard thing! #ThriveThroughTheFive

Having went through this program a few years ago…definitely recommend this to anyone considering stepping into a superintendent role! Amazing experience!
If you haven't registered for @tasanet's Aspiring Superintendents Academy yet, do it ASAP! I can't wait to release our slate of speakers - it is going to be incredible! #InspiringLeaders tasanet.org/professional-lea…
Loved this article in @tasanet INSIGHT Magazine by @DrMRinehart - "In rural Texas, the local district may operate our schools, but the community owns the promise we make to its children. When we invite our communities to share that ownership, we expand not only the resources available to our students, but our collective sense of responsibility for their future. That is how community partnership becomes more than support for our schools — it becomes a civic responsibility." #InspiringLeaders tasanet.org/leadership-persp…

Loved this article in @AASAHQ School Administrator magazine by AASA President and former @tasanet President, @drgoffney! "Look at your district's numbers a little differently. Push past the spreadsheets. Look for the stories, the faces and the potential waiting to be unlocked. Let the numbers convict you, let them move you, and let them drive the passionate, caring work that brought every single one of us into this profession in the first place." #InspiringLeaders
Each year I have the privilege of visiting schools and speaking at convocations - and every single time I am blown away by the incredible students, staff and leaders we have in our Texas Public Schools! A huge thanks to these leaders for entrusting their staff with me this year: @wintersisd @SmithvilleISD @molley_ealy @lamesa_isd @LaPryorISD @SeminoleISD @glenteal13 @KeeneISD @GoldthwaiteCisd
What we know matters, but how we do this work can change a life forever! #ThriveThroughTheFive
