Utter privilege and honour to be on the mic at Wycombe today. I spent a good ten years often having to listen on the radio from Lincolnshire, so it’s an amazing feeling to be on the other end of it. Thanks so much to @mattcecil87 and @Ashmead72 for making it happen. 🩵
Couldn't make it to HP12?

Couldn't hold back my celebration for Danny Ings' last-minute equaliser on Saturday... #Chairboys
That "YES!" says it all 🙌

Started today commentating on Danny Ings’ last-minute equaliser in his debut for Wycombe, ended it at Wembley watching England and the World Champions. Some day of football.

The PM's comments that drinking alcohol in sight of the pitch should be allowed have been headline news today.
We support the PM’s position and it’s actually a more nuanced discussion than X sometimes allows but - deep breath! - we'll give it a go.
🧵An old skool thread 🧵

On the day we note the first widely recognised game of the club now known as Wycombe Wanderers, my research has revealed the name was first used a full 11 years previous in 1876, 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ years ago! This club later received a significant donation from Colonel Carrington M.P.

The first game of the Wycombe Wanderers F.C. took place on The Rye and ended 0-0. It was against the wonderfully named 'Nose Club'. But who were they? The local press asked the question too, and they had no joy either...
Five years?!! What a day.

We said a loving farewell to this lovely lady this afternoon. One of our Life Members, Marion was a very very long time supporter of @wwfcofficial and a willing volunteer during our ownership period.
Harold and Marion - the sort of people who made this club what it is. R.I.P xx
Played well. The reaction we wanted after Saturday. Clear handball for a penalty in the second-half and, if that gets given, you never know how that game ends. That first win will feel sweet. Save it for them on Saturday… 💙
Last Thursday was GCSE Results Day, and I wrote a piece that aimed to dig a little deeper than the attainment data we get in the headlines each year.
It offers a history of school leaving qualifications, their impacts, and the value of GCSEs in 2026 👇
