Outdoor band is back! Our talented band musicians at John Stubbs have been participating in outdoor sessions on Fridays and it's a big hit with the younger elementary audiences.

Did you hear about the surprise visit at École John Stubbs today? It's a beautiful tail 😆. Pierre le paon (Pierre the peacock) dropped by and the students were thrilled to have such a distinguished guest on the school grounds.

Samantha Ogrodnik and Johanne Abbis along with their gr. 7 students from École John Stubbs Mémorial School also held a fundraiser for the @redcrosscanada Ukraine Crisis. Students made yellow and blue flower pins and collected donations. They raised $4400.00!

Why on earth did our PHO extend the winter break for a week? The majority of schools did not enhance safety measures, what they did do was prepare for functional closures & we see schools filled with Covid and hardly any staff and they are still open. #gamespeopleplay

They have not officially announced what these "enhanced" safety measures will be in our BC schools, but safe to say I am not feeling confident it will be even remotely acceptable in truly keeping our kids and school staff safe. @bctf @TeriMooring we need your help! #Omicron
