Folks, I washed my current reusable water vessel today. Like with soap and water and a brush not the quick swish around with warm water I usually try amd get away with. My water tastes better. Sometimes self-care is washing your emotional support water bottle. <3

ALT I join the call for an immediate ceasefire. As I have processed the tragic news of the past days, I think of the Palestinian and Israeli children caught in the middle. I was only 11 years old when I witnessed violence and terrorism. We woke up to the sounds of mortar shells, saw our schools and mosques destroyed by bombs. Peace became something we could only dream about. War never spares children — not those kidnapped from their homes in Israel, not those hiding from airstrikes or without food and water in Gaza. Today, I am grieving for all the children and people longing for peace and justice in the Holy Land.
I managed to move my daily frustration cry from 8:30 am to 9:30 am this morning. This positive affirmation in the morning trick really works!

I have not stood for the national anthem for several years now as a protest. Tonight was the first time I was confronted by an angry human. Thankfully, I diffused the situation but am still shaking.

As a parent, even though Mini Me is now a teen and pretty self-reliant, there is a huge feeling of freedom when Mini Me is spending the night at a friend's home.
