I’m sick to my stomach. @upgrade_daily asked for an @the_ape_society nft and because I am generous and saw that his wife was really working hard and doing a lot of work for social engagements, far more than he was, I decided to gift both he and his wife an ape. Within hours, she had listed hers and he had accepted a collection offer. Bro, if you and your wife were so destitute that you needed handouts, I would have just given you cash. But instead, you looked a gift horse in the mouth and damaged a project I care more about than my own financial well being. You didn’t hurt me; you hurt those I care about. Honestly, if you’re that poor, just dm me and I could have helped you. But you deceived me and hurt others in the process. That sort of behavior is born of a mindset that probably caused you to be poor in the first place. Congrats on your $190 sale, your collection offer acceptance…holy shit you’re such a micropenis.

I still can't get over how badass @the_ape_society art looks as proper oil on canvas. people say pfp nft's are dead. I say we're just getting started. Because that's what happens when you have community rather than hype, foundation rather than flex. Whereas other pfp collections were specifically displayed as a bragging right meant to elevate and distance their owners from the masses, #TAS is all about community and partnerships--a sense of belonging not clout. I know most people probably got into crypto for the profits. But perhaps...just perhaps a few of you were looking for something more.
