These charts are wild. This is my fear. There is so much leverage in the markets…institutional trading and hedge fund etc. when u have these types of massive drawdowns like this in one day. And then if does the same Thing the next day, u have margin calls, and wither need to put up more collateral or have to sell. Could see blood in the water. Look at this chart. And i had shared few weeks back. How fast it went from $730 to $770. In 4 trading days. Then it chopper for weeks. And no elevator down. This could be at 700 in a heart in a matter of days. And then from there who knows. From april of this year it went from 630 to 720 in about 5-6 weeks.

I have three helocs im working on for clients right now. -Primary residence can go to 95% LTV -Investment properties can go to 80% LTV. But only 1-2 units and in personal name. (if in an LLC there are 2nd mortgages as well for DSCR)

Who needs a heloc at 95% of appraisal value?
