Listening to today’s show has been a surreal experience. Mind you, growing up with a town crier for a dad was pretty surreal too – at Hackney, London
He tried to start a movement for extreme town crying a few years back. It involved him doing vaguely extreme things whilst performing a town cry. He abseiled down Portland Rock and he did a cry in the buff on Studland nudist beach. Covered his bits with his tricorn hat. – at Hackney, London
