You are Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, and it is January 18th 2023. You've prepared a speech announcing your intention to not run for re-election and clear the field for younger democrats. This image suddenly flashes in your head. Is it your moral duty to torpedo the 2024 campaign?

Don’t be surprised if Megalopolis becomes the Best Picture front runner soon. I think people are seriously underestimating how much this movie is going to connect with audiences including academy voters.
Baseball's constant attempts to modernize itself has come full circle to completely ruin the very structure of MLB. Less so the length of the season, but the length of the playoffs. Another complete misfire to add to the string of shortsided choices made by an incompetent league.
MLB has proposed returning to a 154-game Regular Season, best-of-seven Division Series, and opponent selection in the Wild Card and Division Series
Starting in 2029, shortening the season to a 154-game schedule would create a standard weekly off day benefiting player health, and it would allow the addition of up to 8 more Postseason games by moving to a best-of-seven Division Series format
Beginning in 2027, higher-seeded clubs in the Wild Card and Division Series would select their opponents

Apologies to Mason Miller, but one of the top annual playoff experiences is watching The Unhittable Closer™ get hit. It’s like clockwork.

In another timeline, we would’ve been treated to a classic Game 163 between the Astros and Rangers, both at 79-83, for the AL West title.
I will never forgive MLB for taking Game 163s away from us.

Bro I dunno man, this feature is making me irrationally mad. I think it’s an actual visual representation of how far this game has fallen in a “competitive” sense.
